Camp Bow Wow of Rockland

Offering Rockland County dog daycare and boarding. We separate the dogs into our indoor / outdoor play yards based on their size, temperament and play style where they socialize and play with other dogs all day long. We keep a high staff to dog ratio and our camp counselors are certified in dog behavior and pet first aid. Boarding dogs participate in our dog daycare program at no additional charge and are only in their spacious cabins for meals and bedtime. Watch your dog play on our camper cams. Stop by anytime for a tour, we’re sure you’ll love what you see! They also have a full time certified groomer who provides services which include full body haircuts, hydro-thermal conditioning wraps, nail grinding, special shampoos, deshedding treatments and tooth brushing. GREAT

I have been bringing my dog here for years. They do not accept aggressive dogs and have very strict rules about up to date shots. This means that your dog will be safe and healthy. They take incredible care of my dog and I recommend it to everyone!

    good place for big dogs

great place, big areas for my great dane to sleep and play. I like the cabins they put the dogs in at night. he doesn't look cramped in there like at other places. he gets to stretch his legs in the play area during the day which is good. unlike other places where they are stuck in a cage all day they actually get to run around here. i recommend it.

    Boarding

Camp Bow Wow in Nanuet's boarding program is very good. I have a small chihuahua and I like how they separate the small dogs from the big dogs so she isn't scared. I also like that I can watch her on my laptop when I am on vacation to see that she is safe.

    What a great idea!

I'd never heard of "doggy daycare" before and thought it sounded silly until I started working more hours and my friend suggested my dog needed some extra exercise during the day when I wasn't home. I tried another place first but it didn't have an outdoor area for the dogs to play and the facility had an unpleasant odor to it. A co-worker suggested Camp Bow Wow. It was very different. It doesn't smell like a dog care facility and the dogs can choose to be either indoors or outdoors since there is a door open for them to run in and out in the enclosed yards. The staff is very friendly and seems knowledgeable and happy to be working there. I am very comfortable leaving my baby there and when I want to see him playing I can just turn on the computer and watch him on their webcams. And the best part is, he's as tired as I am when we get home!
