    Would never recommend this company

I echo the sentiments of one of the reviewers above. Let's just say if you even consider using this company, you should use a nanny cam to discover what they do not do, and how little time they spend taking care of your pet. You'll be lucky if they are there even 5 mins each time, instead of the prepaid 30 mins. Horrible, horrible company. I do not believe any of the positive reviews are real based on what we experienced.

    Thank you Shawna & Damon!

I want to thank Shawna, Damon and their boys for all the care and love they provided to my beloved basset hound, Lucy, who died on September 25, 2016. Lucy taught us many things during her life.

About two and a half years ago, Lucy had back disc surgery and suffered a complication where she bled into her spine column. This complication required immediate further surgery to remove the blood from the spinal column. As a result of the surgeries and complication, Lucy’s back legs were paralyzed. Lucy’s neurosurgeon discharged Lucy home on a very robust physical therapy program, including walking wheels exercises. Lucy could only walk with the walking wheels or by being assisted with a rear harness.

When I brought her home, I was overwhelmed, working a hectic work schedule and had no family to help – my Lucy could not get around without assistance. I called Shawna and Damon (whom took care of her Mon - Fri also prior to her surgery) and they came over to my home to learn how to assist Lucy with the harness and the walking wheels. Over the next several months, Shawna would visit and help Lucy mid-morning, noon, and afternoon. Shawna would exercise Lucy in the back yard with the walking wheels---doing 40 to 60 laps during the mid-morning visit. I would exercise her in the evening.

After Lucy’s strength improved with the walking wheels, it was time for her to do laps using her front legs to pull herself across the lawn with the hope that she would use her back legs. It took several more months of rehabilitation for Lucy to take steps with her back legs.

Lucy was courageous, tenacious, happy and grateful for Shawna’s help. Lucy showed strong determination during her rehab sessions. She never gave up. Shawna never gave up. I never gave up.

Lucy walked again as a direct result of Shawna’s care, love and help. Shawna was uplifting and supportive, even when I was without hope. Lucy and I thank Shawna and Damon for this help.

Lucy enjoyed 2 1/2 more years of life. Shawna’s favorite pose of Lucy was her sitting humbly in the yard sniffing the air and being happy and grateful to be alive.

Lucy developed a sinus tumor that was inoperable and she died peacefully at home.
