    DISGUSTING COMPANY

I signed my dog, Daisy, up for the board and train program. The owner, Terri, had a woman, Carol, who was to be doing the training as Terri was going out of town. I was told I would be given regular updates, photos, videos, of Daisy’s progress. I received one short video of Daisy jumping up on Carol excitedly trying to get a treat while ignoring Carol’s commands completely and one photo of her jumping on Carol’s dog in play. That was it for the entire time she was there though Carol told me she would be sending more. Nothing was said to me about any progress in training. When I went to pick Daisy up I realized why very quickly. Firstly, when I arrived to get her Carol was just pulling in and said she had to go inside Terri’s home to get Daisy. Why she wasn’t with Carol I have no idea, but I thought maybe she had errands and had just dropped Daisy off there for a bit. Then she brought Daisy out. Daisy STUNK horribly of urine and she was so soaked in it she left wet prints all over my shirt. This wasn’t a one-accident smell. She had obviously been in it for some time. Secondly, for at least the first 24 hours Daisy acted very strange. All she wanted to do was lay around and sleep. No energy whatsoever. Which would be consistent with a dog that had been locked up for quite a long time with no exercise or play. Then Carol showed us Daisy’s “progress”. What a joke. Prior to dropping Daisy off she knew how to sit and walk on a leash very well. She learned sit within a day and walked pretty on a leash the second time one was put on her. Carol demonstrated how she was “teaching” Daisy to walk on a leash by holding lunchmeat in front of her while Daisy strained to get to it. Then she showed how she was teaching her to lay down by sliding the lunch meat down in front of her towards the ground. All Daisy was doing was trying to snatch the food. She said Daisy didn’t learn anything else. She also said they didn’t go anywhere like the dog park and puppy “hot spots” like the website boasts about. What was the $600+ for?? Daisy was no more house broken or crate trained and knew no further commands than what she had already known. Also, it was clear that there was no connection between Carol and Daisy like you would expect from a complete “immersion”, as they put it, in a boarding and training program one-on-one with an experienced trainer.
We gave it awhile before contacting the company about our dissatisfaction and my mind was completely blown by the way the conversation went. My fiancé called, being extremely pleasant, and Terri would not even let him get a word in. As soon as she realized what he was calling about she bulldozed the conversation, was immediately defensive and rude. He kept politely asking if he could speak and she would not allow him to. He tried saying he was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt since she had went out of town but she cut him off and started going off again. It was extremely unprofessional and frankly quite strange. He never asked for a refund or further training but she acted like he was coming after her for something and was not even going to hear a single word about our dissatisfaction. Terri also said that they didn’t have anyone available to train her the last two days Daisy was with them. What?? Then why did you say there was no problem adding those days?? Because I would have had someone pick her up like I originally thought I was going to have to do, not had her left in a crate getting soaked in her own urine.
Then came the real joke. While she was ranting on the phone she said Daisy was timid and wouldn’t come out of the crate and tried to BITE them. Wow. She is around strangers all the time, is very well socialized, and has never shown signs of aggression to anyone. Second of all, I have texts saved from Carol saying how good and sweet and loving Daisy was. Sorry Terri, you were caught in a lie and your business is a scam. I never needed a puppy sitter, I had someone at home that wanted to watch her. I was looking for a board and TRAIN program which was paid for and not provided.

BEST BOARD AND TRAINING PROGRAM EVER

They are excellent. They are polite, courteous, responsive, and very professional. The facility is very clean, comfortable, and tidy. My puppy had some much fun and learned so much. Ms. Terry didn’t even mind my multitude of texts that I sent the first few days checking on my pup and she sent me lots of photos and training videos. When I took my 10 month old puppy for board and train he was hyper with no manners, constantly knocked over my company over, and I couldn’t even walk him. Now he is an almost perfect angel. He’s still got some puppy energy, but now he sits down and politely greets my company, he doesn’t bulldoze his way into and around my parents, he listens to me, he crates nicely, and I can even walk him now. Here’s a good example of his training; first today we went to my parents for a little while and when we go there he waited politely at the door for my mom to invite him in and then gently said hello to both of my parents. Afterwards we went for a 1.4 mile walk. He listened every time I asked him to sit and wait for the car, never pulled me, never chased the cars, walked politely on my left side on the sidewalk, left things be when told to, ignored the neighbors and the squirrels, and sat and waited patiently at every crosswalk just like I asked him to. WAGS and Wiggles was and is definitely worth it in time, distance, and cost.

    Horrid

Absolutely disgusting company. Owner/manager is extremely unprofessional. My dog was uncomfortable in the environment there and was picked up early. After asking for a refund (not even a refund, just money back for the days that he was not even there), the owner/manager along with another staff member was extremely rude over the phone. A lot of dodged calls and text messages. Following that, finally texted saying they would be sending "everything" via certified mail. Never received anything. Have called, texted, and gotten in contact with the BBB to settle with this extremely unprofessional and horrendous company.

I have nothing to say against their training, I'm sure they treat dogs great, but they treat humans with zero respect. Please take your business elsewhere!
