    Outstanding in Every Way

I have been taking my dogs to Fieldstone for more than 30 years. I have always been confident that they my dogs are safe and happy. You need only see the dogs behavior when it's time to go back to know they love the place. My dogs, from my 2 pound Maltese to ny 65 pound Samoyed and all sizes and breeds in between have all been happy and healthy. It's important to also note, that my dogs have been to Fieldstone for all stages of their lives, from pups to advanced age. Like people, the challenges of different life stages are also part of our experience, which means that is experienced at Fieldstone too. That means your dogs will have good days and bad days and the Fieldstone staff is willing and able to accommodate the life cycle. From day care to longer periods of boarding over the course of decades, we have experienced Fieldstone care and remain comfortable and confident in the care and fun our dogs experience there.

    We Love Fieldstone

Our lovable Portuguese water dog visits Fieldstone frequently for daycare, and because we are often delayed by commuter traffic he needs to stay overnight, or be picked up a little late. the amazing staff is always so accommodating and we can tell that our dog loves being there. We go out of our way to use fieldstone and would never use any other local kennel.

    Not what I expected.

I went to Fieldstone on a whim one day after driving past and taking a tour. The young gentleman who showed me around was extremely professional and friendly(and from what I thought, was a perfect representation of where I wanted to keep my pets, but little did I realize.... that was a mistake later on) and the facility was also pretty tidy. He gave us a coupon to use, which eased the pain of the bill and helped in aiding the decision to stay at Fieldstone. Upon my return, I found that my dog was not even given his food(that I supplied them with) the dog was filthy dirty and had been in a fight with another dog. The front desk staff was not helpful when I was trying to figure out what had happened and they basically told me to go pound sand.(Amanda, If I can remember correctly) was extremely rude and acted as if it was not their fault. I could not believe the way they handled the situation. At first I was excited to stay there, thinking I had finally found a place for my dog. I will think again when it comes to this place.

Fieldstone Animal Inn is the WORST Kennel!

This place is awful! Please do not support their business.

We had our last dog stay there and against our instructions she was fed table scraps. After a 14 hours flight back to the states, we learn that our dog died in their care due to bloat, which they claimed had nothing to do with it.

This incident was several years ago. After some time passed, we got a new dog and luckily we always had friends and family she could stay with instead of going to a kennel. About a month ago, we had to use Fieldstone as a last resort. We find out that after all this time, we have a $67 credit and Fieldstone never let us know! In fact when we were paying, their accounting system was so flawed that it first showed up as a debit!

Before we had left our dog in their care, we discussed the requirements for our dogs' stay several times with the staff. We were told that all the paperwork and shots were done and all we had to do is drop our dog off. We had to have a friend drop the dog off and upon arrival, she was told that our dog needed a second rabies shot. Turns out the vet had screwed up the reporting of the shots so our dog had to get an unnecessary shot. It doesn't matter though because this should have all been cleared out of the way a week earlier between phone calls, visits, and our discussions to prepare.

$60, three hours and second series of shots later, our dog was admitted. When we wanted to discuss what happened with the owner of Fieldstone (I think her name is Anna?) she unwilling to meet with us.
