    Mark is amazing!

Mark has done an INCREDIBLE job with my husky/malamute! My 7 year old Husky, Mila, had severe leash aggression towards other dogs and even pulled so hard that she broke my mom's shoulder when she saw another dog. After 3 weeks of training with Mark though, she's an entirely different dog on that leash. She listens to my commands such as "Heal, sit, stay" when we see a dog. I've tried SO many ways to try to get her to not go insane on her leash towards a dog and nothing worked until Mark! I'm so appreciative of all the time he spent with her and now his time in training me to keep her this way. Can't say good enough things about his training! He's a dog whisperer for sure.

    Amazing Transformation

Mark has changed our dog cooper tremendously!! He is very attentive and obedient and not as anxious anymore. The largest improvement and reason why we hired Mark was to help cooper with social skills. He can now be in another room/park/yard with other dogs and not try to attack them every time they walk by. He spent 7 weeks with my "dorkie" and I will forever be grateful for that time away from him because it now brings us more joy to be around cooper in public with other people and dogs. Thank you mark and we will miss you in Colorado!!

    Best Trainer in Bradenton/Sarasota Area

I would like to recommend Mark Jacobs from On Command K9 Academy. What a difference working with a great trainer can do for your dog. We had just gotten Rocky, a 10 week old Golden Retriever, and I had gone through 8 weeks of basic obedience training with AKA, but was looking for someone who would continue his training as well as board Rocky for the summer. I need to explain that I had never considered hiring a private trainer for a dog - but I was facing a problem - I now had a 4 month old puppy that needed to continue with dog training and needed to have him boarded for the summer. We simply were not able to be home on a consistent basis and I did not want him to be in a crate all summer with no formal training. I went looking for someone who would continue his training as well as board him in a safe environment, would be able to provide some socialization and who would love him and treat him like their own. I found that person in Mark Jacobs at On Command K9 Academy.

Mark was more than happy to accommodate our family in every aspect of Rocky’s training and boarding. Mark is professional, very knowledgeable and friendly and most important, he took the time to answer every question I had. Mark’s training uses positive reinforcement and emphasizes the importance of how dogs communicate. Mark gives excellent and simplified instruction with love and firmness. Rocky responded immediately to his effective training skills. Mark continues to work with me in our home once a week as long as I need it. As part of Mark’s service he will pick Rocky up and bring him back at a convenient time for both of us and Rocky has been bathed and groomed! Rocky is now 6 months old and he is growing stronger every day, I want a well behaved dog that I can manage and do it in a way that makes sense to Rocky and me. Every dog owner should do a training session with Mark at On Command K9 Academy.
