I have been taking my cats and dog to AHOD for more than a decade and have always experienced excellent care. The doctors are thorough and take time to answer any questions I may have. I have found the staff to be friendly, caring and efficient. All of my animal loving friends trust Animal Hospital of Dunedin to take care of their pets.
- VankaMay. 22, 2019Awful Customer service all around!
I would not recommend this cramped, expensive clinic to anyone! I especially do not recommend Bartholomew or Todd! They seem to care more about ordering unnecessary tests than about the welfare of your precious furbaby!

Dr Todd is the worst he’s all about the money going way above and beyond to do what’s more expansive, rather than what’s best for the pet. My pet came in for vomiting after eating leftovers from the trash. He was still playful and drinking water but could not keep food down. He hospitalized my dog on IV fluids and meds and my dog was back to normal eating and keeping it down. He would not let me bring my dog home, he wanted to keep my pet an additional 2 days paying for an ICU stay and repeat radiographs which were taken by him when my dog presented and were normal! I told him no I didn’t have the money and my dog was better and I wanted to take him home. This dr Todd tried to make me feel like a bad person stating I was taking my pet home against medical advice, while I was telling him I understood but had no more money and my dog was fine. He kept going on and on about my dog dying and some other BS. I got my dog out of there as fast as I could and have never looked back at that place again. I hated my experience w that man. I don’t recommend u take ur dog there, unless u have plenty of money to throw away, bc then dr Todd is a very nice sweet man. Disgusting.
