"I created Dogism after observing an overwhelming amount of families that have opened their hearts and homes to shelter dogs only to have mild to severe behavioral problems develop and no one to support and help them through the process of acclimating a rescue dog to their new environment. I believe that one must first understand the behavior of an animal and gain its' respect and trust through the philosophy of the pack, only then will one be successful in their relationships with animals. I refer to myself as an animal behaviorist first because I believe that we are all trainers, some just do not have the proper tools yet."
