New Mexico Pets Alive! offers hope for homeless pets by meeting the challenge with creativity and 21st century solutions! They are a registered not-for-profit corporation in the great state of New Mexico, with a pending (501-c-3) designation. Inspired by the past 10+ years of success of neighboring states achieving No - Kill communities (saving all healthy and treatable companion animals entering animal control and private and municipal shelters - a minimum of 90% of intake), they are embarking upon one the largest companion animal life-saving efforts in New Mexico's history. With the help of some of the most successful veterinarians, behaviorists, rescue group and shelter leaders across North America, achieving upwards up 97% save rates for their communities' lost, neglected and homeless pets, they are developing and delivering informational and programmatic resources to help New Mexico achieve this same level of success.
