  Jena Weiss understands and helps both dog and human behavior with incredible insight, patience and humor. As experienced dog owners, we were surprised to find our new puppy was more than we could handle, and we were beginning to think we might have to return him to the breeder. We sought Jena’s expertise when our puppy was just three months old, and over the next few months, she helped us in ways, I would have never thought possible. After careful observation and many thoughtful questions, Jena displayed uncanny insight into our new dog’s behavior. The dog immediately responded to Jena’s confident leadership and clear direction, and she taught our family to set boundaries and consistently reinforce proper behavior. Jena was able to work with every member of our family—three kids, age 2, 7 and 12, and two adults who thought they already knew how to train a dog. She was able to explain the reasoning behind what we had to do in words and metaphors that made sense to each of us. We instantly knew we were in very capable hands, and as we worked with Jena our admiration for her experience, skill and innate dog sense grew exponentially. She helped us train our dog to be the loving, gentle, under control member of the family that we so desperately wanted, and along the way, Jena became a trusted friend. She is always available by phone to listen to new concerns, and she never tires of explaining what needs to be done with a calm, wisdom that instantly makes you feel empowered and confident about taking control of the situation. Hiring Jena was one of the smartest things we’ve ever done for our family, and she is worth every penny that she charges and then some! We are already dreaming of a second dog, and hope to bring in Jena to help us even earlier in the process with puppy selection and introducing the new dog to our home. Jena Weiss is a savvy, capable, compassionate person who goes about her work with humble confidence.
