To provide care and treatment to the animals...the nearest vet is 4 hours away.
To sterilize as many dogs and cats as possible to keep the population in control...currently dogs and cats are poisoned, shot and thrown into the river when not wanted.
To educate the local children...many see a puppy as something to kick around.
