  Very dog friendly

  There were several dogs on the patio. it’s well shaded with trees and they have big fans also. they have several dog bowls for water. They also gave our pups treats. The food was excellent and came out very quickly. would definitely go again.

  Dog Friendly and Good Atmosphere

  Our family road-trips often with our two chocolate labs. We stumbled on Keg & Barrel thru Fido and since we were going to be in the area decided to try it. Very pleasant and welcoming staff, a lot of outdoor seating, they provided water for the bowl we brought in. No one seemed bothered by the dogs, the food was good, beer was cold. great location!

  Very dog friendly

  There is a lot of outside tables which are all dog friendly, with plenty of room between them. Fresh water is available at the outside bar. Service and food are both excellent.

  Chiko approves!

  we came to eat in Mid-January and they had a heated outdoor area that accommodates the whole family, including Chiko! great seating, delicious food, and excellent customer service! definitely returning on our next trip.

  The most dog-friendly restaurant in town!

  This is our favorite restaurant in Hattiesburg and it is the most dog- friendly.

  Must go in Hattiesburg!

  I'm a Hattiesburg native who now lives out of state and Keg and Barrel is now on our must go list when we visit. Their local brew list is impressive, the food is good, and they love dogs. They brought our girl a bowl of water and she loved her grilled chicken breast for dinner. And every server took time to love on our girl every chance they got.

  There is a cat that lives under the deck, but we didn't see it until just before we left. They are very popular, particularly at night, so if your pup gets anxious around loud crowds, go early and pick a spot on the back patio. It's definitely worth putting in the little bit of extra effort to try this place out.

  Dogs should not be allowed

  The primary concern about having a dog in a restaurant is one of public health. Let’s face it: People who are really uncomfortable around animals are quite likely to assume having a dog in a restaurant makes the entire place unhealthy. Heaven forbid that Fido should have an accident on the floor; that could send some people into a tailspin.

  In reality, a dog that has been de-wormed and is up-to-date on all his vaccinations poses no real health risk in a restaurant or other place. If it were true that dogs created an unhealthy environment at a restaurant, they would also be making their owners sick every time they walked into the kitchen. It’s unfortunate that public perception sees things otherwise.

  Great Place for Dinner

  I stopped in at 8:00 on a Saturday night, hoping I could snag an outdoor table with my pups, and had no problems finding a spot. The servers were super friendly, brought my dogs a bowl of water, and were cooing over them all evening. Food was great and they had a great draft and bottle list for the beer lovers, with a lot of local choices. I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a place to go with Fido. :)

  Best spot in Hattiesburg

  I lived in Hattiesburg for a long time. Keg and Barrel is my favorite restaurant/pub in the whole town. I brought my dog regularly and he loved not getting left behind! The servers are very friendly and the food is AWESOME!

  Fantastic! June 2012

  Wow, an outside seating area, shady in day, well lit at night. The restaurant is a small house with a wide three sided porch and front patio. A brew pub, but they have all the other libations. Brought my dog a bowl of ice water. A small but quality menu. I had a club sandwich that was fresh and light. They even grilled a chicken strip for my dog! I'd stop even without the dog!.
