  Flakey dog policy

  Dogs are sometimes not allowed in the beautiful garden in the back. Depends on their mood. Policies have flip flopped over the years. Call ahead.

  Paradise for pet owners

  We have been in Sedona for a couple days with our energetic young dog. She is usually hard to manage at restaurants, but after a long hike, she was tired and well behaved at Chocola Tree. The staff was very kind. The food was refreshing. Most importantly they were welcoming of our dog, offering multiple options for pet-friendly seating!

  The front patio had tables with umbrellas, but the sun was pretty strong, so we planned to just eat in the car. One of the staff mentioned that pets are also allowed in the garden, so we brought her there. It was spacious, shaded, and relaxing. Our dog loved it. Other dogs were there too. Because it was a spacious garden, we were able to have our meal without worrying about our dog wanting to go see the other pets in the area.

  Chocola Tree also provided bug spray for guests to use in case mosquitos come out.

  I can’t think of a more pet friendly restaurant!

  Lots of Better places to take your dog

  Yes, they are dog friendly, but the food is adequate at best, the service was the worst service I’ve ever experienced, and lots of mosquitoes.

  Eh.

  Yesterday my Dad took my to ChocolaTree. Yes,I am a kid giving a review but trust me. If you read this show this to your kids before you go with them. To start off our visit at ChocolaTree there was a very big menu! Me and my Dad agreed that we would share a pizza. And my sister got the chili. My Sister was being very kind to let me try the chili. When our pizza got to the table I was grossed out by how much Basil was on the pizza. I said “It looks like the bottom of the Ocean.” That is how much Basil they had put on. It said on the menu for the pizza that it was a normal pizza, Lettuce, Cheese, Sauce, and Basil. But only the cheese can out right. There was so much Basil on the pizza that I couldn’t even taste any other ingredients. For the tomato sauce it was just Tomatoes! i would think that this place is not for kids for my opinion. On the other hand they gave our dog lots of love. I hope this gives you a heads up on your meal at ChocolaTree!

  Relaxing =)

  To start off they had a very big menu and lots to choose from! It was a relaxing vibe and very dog friendly. The waiters gave our dog lots of love and it was a nice floor so he wasn’t uncomfortable. They were able to seat us in the lounge because it was raining and we had the dog. Very calming smell and music but not recommended if you have picky children because everything is made from scratch but highly recommend for vegans.

  Front Patio only

  I don't mind being delegated to the front patio, but our waitress never came back after giving us waters, so we left. The staff was too busy talking amongst themselves inside.

  great food and service

  My husband and I stopped to eat after a lovely hike. Breakfast was unique and extremely good. Our dogs were welcomed and given a icy bowl of water. The patio was comfortable and quiet. If you like fresh and healthy food, I would highly recommend eating here.
