Good food and excellent service. Server even brought our pups a bowl of water. Highly recommend!
- KatieJun. 16, 2020Very Accommodating And Pet Friendly
They were super friendly and accommodating to my large dog and my friends small dog. We sat on the covered patio with heating while it rained for hot teas. Drinks were good and the food was also really good. They offered us dog bowls for water immediately. Stop here if you have a chance for lunch or dinner.

Went when I was a pup and the staff couldn't have been nicer! Good food too!
- SabrinaOct. 23, 2019Heated Outdoor Area
Visited at the end of October. Had a terrible time finding any place that had outdoor heated seating. All the places that would have outdoor seating in the summer did not have anything in the cooler months. This place was fabulous with plastic covered walls and heat. Food was good too. No problems here for our pup. He was very welcome.

We’ve been here many times with our golden retriever and they’ve always been very friendly to us and to our dog. Our dog is very well behaved and always gets lots of attention and the staff is always very good to him. We always travel with our own bowl for him which they take and immediately fill with fresh water for him.

Banner Elk Cafe has a wonderful outdoor patio and was full of well behaved dogs enjoying their time in the shade with their families. Large seating area means you rarely wait if you brought your pet and the food and service was great as always.

We had a beautiful lunch on the outdoor patio. Umbrellas for shade. Entire staff was friendly and accommodating to our Mini Aussie. Highly recommend the location and food.
- KathiMore than a year agogreat dog friendly terrace
We found this restaurant very dog friendly, they have a beautiful, large terrace that is tucked away from the street. Also, a covered area that is good for rainy or cold days. Food is good with a nicely varied menu. The hostess and waitress were both welcoming to our dog and brought him water. Will go back again!
- WillMore than a year agofood was good, and we found it quite accommodating for our dog.
We had a pineapple chicken wrap and a poboy, both were great. The fries were good, but but the green beans were pretty clearly from a can. That's really our only good complaint.
Ten outdoor tables that would be good for dogs. Half a dozen water bowls within sight. Very friendly staff. Affordable. I would recommend them for anyone with a pup.

This restaurant was dog friendly, at first I thought there were only three small table for dogs but there is also a patio in the back you can use. The food is very decent. Not a five star but it was more important to get nutrition and take my pet with me. Salmon was great, veggies were canned. Ribs were great, onions rings weren't. Service slow but it was a holiday weekend.
- TrishMore than a year agobarely pet 'tolerant' certainly not friendly
When I called and asked 'are you pet friendly?' I was told 'we allow pets on the patio' no word about friendly for good reason.
We were given a table and warned that our dog must remain on the outside of the patio. They couldn't find a water bowl and refused to provide a to-go container for water.
Not a great experience.
