    Close to beach

You literally just walk across the street from the beach and sit at the picnic tables. They were very busy when we went so hubby went inside and got menus and then went inside again to order and anytime we needed something. The tables do have umbrellas. Very close to road but there is a sidewalk. Prices are reasonable. Had the blt and soup and salad and all was excellent.

    Not so Much

Hubby, Pup and I stopped for lunch on a Monday. As we are vacationing we liked the idea of being able to goto lunch and not leave the dog at a vacation rental that was unfamiliar to him.

The food was so-so, the waitress was not the best we have ever had.

Here are my sggestions...bring your own bowl and water for your pet. Do not order the nachos unless you like cheese sauce on them. The ground beef is just that - fried up ground beef. The friend flounder sandwaich did not get rave reviews from the hubby. There are only 3 road-side picnic tables for the "dog-friendly" part.

Would we give them a second try? Maybe, any restaurant can have a bad day. We vacation in this area a couple of times a year so we might be back.

Nice place to grab a bite to eat

Grabbed a bite to eat here with a couple of friends and my pooch. They have a set of 4 or 5 picnic tables near the sidewalk that are available for people with dogs. Those tables are right outside the main patio area and near the live music going on.

They brought my pooch a bowl of water and she just laid under the table while we dined. Nice place to bring a well-behaved dog, especially if you're coming off the beach/ocean with your pooch.

If you have a dog that's antsy, though, not a lot of room for him/her to roam while at the table. We were there for a 2-3 hours as other friends came and met us and I had to walk her a few times so she could potty, but doesn't bother me any as I don't think people eating want to see a dog use the restroom nor should she be going near a restaurant.

The only thing I wish they had was small trash cans near the dog friendly area where I could throw out pooch potty waste bags. But the waitress did take the bag for me since I couldn't go in the restaurant with the dog. I don't expect anyone to have to clean up after my dog so that was nice of her.

They do have an all beef hotdog on the menu if you're into feeding your pooch 'people' food as well.
