  Great setting with delicious food

  Dined here for lunch today with our pup. They immediately brought water for her and us. The patio is pretty and peaceful with lots of umbrellas for shade and heaters, if needed. Nestled next to the mission, it has a lovely setting. My husband had the individual seafood paella and I had the steak Saltado bowl. We both really enjoyed our meals.

  Awesome Patio and Dog Attentive Staff

  The food is super yummy and they are very welcoming to dogs. Patio is roomy and staff is top notch. They are no longer able to make a meal for dogs but they provide water.

  Delicious food, very dog-welcoming!

  Lovely restaurant — casual but very nice. Great food ( generally omnivore, but very vegetarian and vegan-friendly, with clear indications on the menu of what is or can be made vegan). Warmly welcoming to dogs on the lovely outdoor patio, offering a water-bowl with your meal.

  Great food and service

  We had lunch here and loved the food while sitting out on the patio. There were several other dogs dining with their people. All of the tables with dogs were offered a water bowl. Super friendly wait staff. Highly recommended!

  Found Luna Red on bringfido.com and so happy I searched while driving home from Santa Barbara. Perfect patio for our small dog, the server brought over a bowl of water as we sat down and was understanding of our curious and nervous pup. All of that, AND the food was awesome! Could not have asked for a better pit stop in SLO!

  Luna Red is great for dogs and people!

  Our second time at Luna Red was just as good as our first, and I had to write a review this time. The brunch menu is packed with Latin/Spanish-inspired favorite, such as gallo pinto (yum!) and homemade chorizo. We love sitting with our two dogs on the awesome, roomy patio, sipping mimosas and listening to the hum of activity from the Mission next door. If you are in SLO, don't miss Luna Red!

  We love this place!

  My Golden Retriever is always relaxed and pampered at Luna Red. A plain cooked hamburger was available to purchase for my dog while the human food and drinks are excellent. Ask for Rylie...
