  Wonderful!

  Great food and service! brought our pup a big bowl of water. We loved our lunch. It was noisy with traffic so might be too much for an anxious dog.

  Great stop!

  We stopped here on our way to Charleston and was taken wonderful care of. Super dog friendly with a nice big patio!

  Great Food - Super Dog Friendly!

  We followed the reviews and went here after a day of walking with our pup on the grounds and in the gardens at the Biltmore Estate. Universal Joint totally lived up to our expectations. The outside patio is awesome and super dog friendly. Try the Universal Fries! I had the chicken sandwich California Style and my hubby had the wings. Everything was delicious.

  Amazing!

  Universal Joint was an amazing spot from the time we sat down to the time we left. Our waitress greeted us and our pup with fresh ice water and was so good to him (and us). The food and drinks were absolutely ah-mazing. The patio and atmosphere was so chill and relaxed. We had an amazing time there.

  Very Dog Friendly

  Great spot for beer. Waitress brought out a dog bowl without having been asked. Burgers are big!

  Went On A Whim

  Went here on a whim, weather was in the 90s, asked a waiter if we could bring our pup. They said yes, brought us out water and dog bowl for our puppy, even refilled it! Would go there again for sure. Got the fish tacos. Food was awesome, will go again!

  Best Dog Friendly Restaurant

  We were on vacation with our pug Millie and looking for a good food/beer place that we could bring Millie too. What a wonderful place! Great food and prices. There were 4 dogs on the patio. Wait staff immediately brought ice water in a bowl for our dog as soon as we sat down. Waiters and waitresses LOVE dogs!!! They stop by and greet and pet your dog. A must go to place if you’re traveling with your fur baby.

  Doggone Good!

  We brought our dog for Saturday lunch- the fourth dog table on the patio. They brought a water bowl right away and introduced themselves to our dog. The sandwiches we had were delicious!

  Local hangout

  Nice place where dogs are welcome on the patio. They have a covered portion also. Nice outdoor patio. Seems to be a local place in an up and coming artist neighborhood. Other nice looking places along the same street. The restaurant/bar is on a corner of a three way intersection. Parking allowed in the Wells Fargo lot after bank business hours. Mid range in prices. Burgers sandwiches and apps. Extensive beer menu.

  Booze and Foods

  Went here with my Great Dane (Anna) and mum last night! Had an amazing experience. Both staff and guest were extremely friendly towards Anna. Wait staff brought her a bowl of water as well, couldn’t have asked for better!

  perfect for a rainy day

  We were in Asheville on a cold, rainy day, so their heated, covered patio which was a welcome relief. Great burgers and plenty of water for the furballs.
