- ErinJul 1, 2024Official dog friendly restaurant, please note rules: 1 dog per table
Upon entering the hostes stand, there is an official "Dog friendly restaurant" certificate stating the guidelines of health they have to follow. There is also a sign stating "we are dog friendly, if your dog does not bark and annoy other diners. We allow one dog per table. Pets are not permitted to eat off of tables and plate" I definitely agree with a lot of these guidelines. As the restaurant they can set the restrictions they would like, I can't complain about their rules. I agree with a few other posts, they they seem to tolerate dogs, not welcome them with open hugs. I think they've just had their fair share of bad dogs and bad owners, and we are lucky they are still dog friendly. If you have a well behaved dog, Lazy days, is a beautiful dog friendly option in Islamorda.
- CharlotteMar 2, 2024Great restaurant!
Fantastic food, drinks, and view. Dinner right next to the water, on the beach. Great environment for Cooper, our mini double doodle. 💕
- HollyMay 2, 2021Outstanding food, beautiful views and atmosphere and friendly staff
Brought our adult German Shepherd Freyja and her “baby sister”, our 5 month old black lab, Bella with us for dinner on the water. The easy going and festive atmosphere was so much fun. Beautiful view, delicious meal and two very happy pups. Our server brought them a big bowl of ice water and they seated us at a table that was part of the atmosphere but socially distanced just enough that it was comfortable for a 74 pound GS to see the surroundings and make herself comfortable without being disruptive to others. I so appreciated the fact that they let us bring in our well behaved girls together (on leashes), because that isn’t always the case. Lazy days gets a big thumbs up from this family.
- JohnFeb 20, 2020Great Place To Lunch
Went here for lunch, great food and atmosphere! Nikita, our German Shepherd, had a wonder cool shady relaxing time. They brought her some cool water which she drank immediately. She then relaxed and enjoyed the shade and island breeze. Highly recommend.
- JanetJan 7, 2020Favorite place!
We have always loved going to Lazy Days, but this time we brought our Basset Hound. We only sat at the beach bar with him, and the bartender did ask if we needed water for him. I usually bring a travel bowl and water, so I didn’t need it. We only brought Ernie along with us once, but during our many visits, you always see dogs at the bar or at the tables on the beach. We always enjoy the food and they have the best bartenders!!!! Best happy hour around too!!
- JordanMay 28, 2019Right On The Water And Pet Friendly
My fiancé and I visited for Memorial Day weekend 2019. We stopped in for an appetizer and drinks. Dogs are welcome downstairs, there is a bar and tables on the sand. They didn’t bring us water but we had our travel bowl and it was perfectly fine. They had live music on Saturday, this is one of our favorite places to come drink, first time bringing Chico
- LarissaMar 9, 2019Great Lunch!
We went to an early lunch to beat the crowds and were seated at an outdoor table with umbrella. The staff was very friendly. We took our own water bowl and dog snacks. Great food, incredible views...we loved it.
- YvonneFeb 15, 2019Valentine's Day dinner
Had reserved table on the beach. Dogs (in stroller) accepted, but I wouldn't go as far as to say welcomed. Wait staff ignored them, though other diners enjoyed them. We ordered them burgers and carrots, fed with our own plastic silverware, and gave them water we brought, from their own bowl. No one offered them water, but to be fair, it was early evening and not really hot out. Food and atmosphere very good, but we will return to other restaurants where we have felt more welcome.
- MayraJul 7, 2018Very kind to our friendly puppy
We sat on the bottom beach area. What a great place to enjoy a great meal while our puppy relaxes next to us. Our waiter even brought cold water for our puppy given it was a hot sunny day. Definitely recommend this place!

- BillMore than a year agoGreat food and priceless atmosphere
This place was incredible! I will definitely be back here, every time I make a trip to the keys. Awesome food, and large dog-friendly area. There was a bar downstairs and several bar tables, all under cover. Additionally, there were tables out on the beach. The food and atmosphere were excellent, and they were very dog-friendly. This place is the best!
