  Great Covered Patio

  Located on the sketchier end of King Street, but great for day and early evening dining. The patio is covered and has several fans. Water for our fur-baby was offered and the overall feel was dog-friendly. Great place for burgers and sandwiches. Nice selection of salads. Beer and Cider are served in frosted mugs. Dishes are a little heavy on the chili powder, but all-in-all it was a very positive experience.

  Great place!!!

  We go to Charleston every couple of months and always go to the kickin chicken. We’ve alway are satisfied but our last visit (August 2018) was spectacular. The out door area is cover and lots of fans. Our waitress I believe her name is Barbra was so amazing. We sat in that area because we have a 70lb Herman shorthair Pointer. She brought out a big bowl of ice water for our dog right away without asking for it. She even looked for dog treats but didn’t have any but I said she likes celery sticks and she brought us a plate of celery for our dog. She even gave us a doggie bag of celery sticks to go. She was the best. The food is good clean place.

  A great place for a rainy day

  We needed an outdoor patio to sit with our pups for lunch, but it was pouring down rain all day. So thankful we found Kickin' Chicken! The outdoor patio was covered and completely comfortable. There's a bar, tvs and plenty of seating outside, and they brought my dogs a bowl of water. The food was delicious and the service was great. Will definitely go back!

  Tin roof patio

  Vienna and I ate here twice as it was very close to our B&B. The food was the typical chicken restaurant, but the patio was covered and had large fans to keep us cool. A brief rainstorm hit once, and the place was incredibly noisy due to the tin roof. But since there were only two people (and one dog) on the patio, we just looked at each other and smiled. The servers were pleasant and brought me extra glasses of water so that I could fill Vienna's portable bowl.

  Delicious Chicken Fingers

  Kickin' Chicken's dog-friendly patio is a great spot to hang out with friends! I highly recommend the chicken fingers dipped in the hot buffalo sauce with ranch dressing or blue cheese! Wraps are also great!
