- Jun 18, 2024Very dog friendly
Tables were a little close together but otherwise they offered our two dogs water and staff was very nice!
- MJFeb 22, 2024Good location lots of outside seatimg.
Food is good and kind to pets.
- LauraJun 18, 2023Loved the big fans!
Very dog friendly, the large fans and shade helped keep everyone cool. The menu is basic but worked well for my picky family. We especially enjoyed the sushi.
- KoreenDec 31, 2022Pup cup love
went for dinner and brought the pups! we had fabulous service, food and they loved the dogs! one of mine had his first pup cup 😂
- SusaSep 6, 2022Great choice
Dog friendly with large fans. Situated a little bit off the road so that the traffic did not disturb. place was quite ( day after Labor Day) and we got excellent service and food. our dog was offered water and our waitress brought her ice.
- KristinJul 6, 2022Super Dog Friendly!
We were seated in a perfect corner booth outside with the live music going to enjoy the amazing food! super dog friendly, The dogs got their burgers before we got our food (they were thrilled) haha and they brought water constantly for them (our girls drink a lot of water in the summer) and didn’t complain once. Highly recommend checking them out! Try out the oysters or the poke bowls they were SO good! Thank you to the staff for being so friendly to us and our pups!
- NinaJun 13, 2022Spacious Patio
Salt Life accommodated my husband and I with our three dogs on a spacious patio. We were thankful for the fans blowing because it was a 90* day in Florida summer. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 bones is because the food is expensive for a basic menu. The food was good but nothing stood out as amazing. The cocktails were also weak.
- JessicaApr 26, 2022Great food and dog-friendly space!
The food was delicious and the service was awesome. Every time our waitress came by to check on us she made a point of checking on our dog too. She made sure the dog bowl (which was provided by the restaurant when we first sat down) was full of cool water and that there was plenty of shade for our dog to snooze in. Can’t wait to go back again!
- RitaApr 5, 2022Very happy
Very good service, food and good seating with our canine 😊 Very clean, too.
We brought our own bowl and water so not sure if they noticed it and that was why they didn’t bring him some?? Liked that the tables were spaced out enough so if there were several dogs they weren’t on top of each other… we were there around 2 or 3 and busy but not overcrowded outside. Definitely recommend!!! Great staff! - RonMar 17, 2022Excellent experience
Menu was extensive. Lots to choose from. everyone enjoyed their selections very much. Brought water for our pup and seemed glad to see her. There was live music. Oh yes, the Key Lime Pie was one of the best I have ever had.
- MicheleFeb 5, 2022Pet friendly on patio
fun spot and they capitalize on their salt life theme throughout. had to ask for a bowl but pup was happy. food is ok - reads better than it tastes so go for the atmosphere
- NhoraDec 24, 2021Great food. Amazing service!
I found this place while looking where to have dinner on Christmas Eve. it was the best find ever. location is really nice, the food was great and the service (by Keyla) was amazing. my dog was so relaxed, she feel asleep!! highly recommend!!!
- WayneOct 27, 2021Nice beachy atmosphere
Lovely patio next to the bar. Smooth wood flooring was good for the dog to take a nap. Grouper sandwich was tasty. Crab avocado sushi was excellent.
- DanielleJul 19, 2021Fun time with the puppers
Spent the day in St. Augustine. Used the Bring Fido app to find a restaurant at the beach and this was perfect. Nice big picnic tables with umbrellas. The food was delicious and service was friendly and fast. Half of our table was in the sun due to time of day and they accommodated us by letting us switch to be in the shade. The crab boil is awesome and the Asian salad is so fresh and tasty. They bring over water bowls for the dogs and even have a doggie burger which Ozzie loved!
- TracyApr 9, 2021Pet Friendly
Yummy food and bet friendly!!!
- Hurricane HattiApr 6, 2021Great, but long wait!
Lower patio dog friendly, amazing food, love the ambiance and live music. We went twice and both times wait times were 1-1.5 hours, but worth it. Served our German Shepherd fresh water in a cute dog bowl both times. Wait staff very friendly!
- KatieApr 2, 2021Great place to bring your dog
My dog had tons of fun.But the only thing they don’t tell is that you only can bring your dog on the downstairs patio. But it is a really nice with heaters and tons of people.would recommend bring your dog.
- DianeMar 23, 2021Busy!
we enjoyed Happy Hour on Thursday night. but it was very crowded.
- JodyMay 25, 2020Great Food, Great Service
For humans, this was a great spot for lunch. For puppies....it may depend on the day/time. We visited on rainy Memorial Day. There are 4 hightop tables under cover and 8 picnic tables with umbrellas for pet seating. As I said, rainy, but more drizzling. So we chose a picnic table. Staff saw we had a dog, and that was the end of dog interaction. We brought our own treats and water, so no biggie that no water was provided. We were there about an hour. While the tables are first come first serve, it is almost a full body contact sport to get to a table. Again, rainy holiday weekend. Pick your times wisely and you and Fido will be set.
- HollyJan 13, 2020Dog Friendly On The Patio
They were very accommodating to our Bailey. They put out a water bowl for your pup and the wait staff came over to say hi. The food is fantastic as well.
- BonnieOct 30, 2019Good Good And Nice Deck For Dogs
Enjoyed our lunch after a long walk on the beach. Our waitress brought ice water first thing
- VladimiraOct 4, 2019Waste of money
I never write reviews, but have to do it this time..since I was very disappointed with this restaurant. Service was slow - waited 20 min till a waitress showed up. Barely smiled and not even recognized that we had a little dog with us. Luckily I brought my own water bowl and pour some water from my glass for her. So much for reading reviews that they will bring a water dish for your pup.Food was just not even all that...so overrated I believe because their location ( most busiest area on A1A) and their name. Ordered crab boil which was not even warm when they finally brought our food, size of crab legs was a joke. Tasted nasty like from a cheap "all you can eat chinese buffett) . Not worth it at all. I will never go back to that place with my dog if I am back in town. There are better places here and really dog friendly. This place is definately not, they should change it to "dogs allowed". What a disappointment and especially on our last day of vacation.
- ShaylaSep 9, 2019Great place and great music

Great food and treated our fur kids very well.
- MindyMore than a year agoSuper Pet friendly!
Fantastic service! Our fantastic waitress brought out exhausted babies fresh water a bowl for each. Enough space between tables for the girls to lay down without getting stepped on. Great food. Grouper tacos and shrimp tacos were great.
- JudyMar 8, 2018Pup-friendly deck at a cool spot
My pup and I popped into this place for a cold drink while staying in St. Augustine Beach. The deck is pup-friendly and the staff was great. Nice place and we would return here to eat in the future!
- BriannaMore than a year agoamazing food and patio
They have their own water bowls with their logo on them that get brought out instantly. The patio is very spacious and very dog friendly. The food was amazing!
- Greg Marci LunaMore than a year agogreat food and location
We ate here for lunch with our Doberman Luna. Staff all came out to great her with water and a treat when we sat down great place for pets. Food was good and a reasonable price for a beach side place.
- CandeeMore than a year agocool spot across from beach
good higher price than most of the beach spots in st aug - only negative music is loud .very loud
- LaurelMore than a year agoGreat spot!
The food was a bit pricey, and the seating was a little awkward for our dog. They have tables with big benches, so I had to scoot the bench out and put her under the table so she would be out of the way. The food was awesome though, and overall we had a very nice experience The staff were awesome and brought her her own dog dish of water :)
- BillMore than a year agoGreat food, covered patio that is dog friendly
Great food and service. Very dog friendly. Awesome drinks. Tuna was very fresh.
- KarenMore than a year agoThe Salt Life = The Good Life
Fun outdoor deck for the dogs who were provided with water in their own "Salt Life" dog water bowls. Our liquid refreshment was great. The Pain Killer was my drink of choice. We had oysters and the shrimp and chorizo nachos. The wait staff were all helpful and loved the dogs. Definitely make this a stop on your trip!
- SandiMore than a year agoGreat food, exceptional service
Had one of the best Ahi salads I have ever had, a great Margaritta and the best service by far. Lily was my server. She not only took great care of me, but exceptional service with my pups! I will definitely be returning!!!
- NoelMore than a year agoSalt Life
The staff was friendly and welcomed our puppy with open arms! They brought her a dog bowl full of water and refilled it for her. A lot of the staff came to see her and pet her! Highly recommend to anyone visiting with a pet!
