    The Well at Jordans Farm

    Located on a working farm. Locally sourced ingredients when possible. 4 - 5 menu items to choose from (always chicken, seafood, and vegetarian options). The menu changes daily depending on what's in season and the availability of the best ingredients. Food prep takes 10 - 15 minutes. Water and iced tea are available but otherwise, bring your own drink. Bottles of wine are available at the farm stand next door. Picnic tables for eating. Cash only. Leashed dogs are allowed at picnic tables if well-behaved. Takeout is available if the weather is bad. Visit Website

      3 bones for taste

      They did not let us take the dog in the Gazebo and we did not want to sit outside at dusk with the mosquitos. The dog ended up staying the car. The food was very good but I left hungry because the portion sizes were tiny. I wouldn't go again.

      Fun Alternative

      We visited The Well with plans to sit out at one of their picnic tables. We purchased a bottle of wine at the Jordan Farm market next door and it began raining. We ended up ordering takeout and returning to our hotel. Food was EXCELLENT - healthy portions of healthy food. (Veggies tasted fresh picked.) Don't expect anything fancy here - the location is lovely and low-key with picnic tables around a planted farm field. Dogs would have loved to sit at the picnic tables and watch the world go by if it hadn't rained. Staff was friendly. BYOB. If you do get your food to go like we did, make sure you have utensils and napkins - those aren't provided. But a chunk of crusty bread and yummy butter WERE in the bag. We'll definitely come back!
