  The food and service was excellent. Our dogs were treated well. Our server Jacob was a charming young man.

  Excellent Restaurant

  Our pup Lexie was very welcomed at this restaurant. Brandon our server. He was not only excellent despite being busy but was very attentive to Lexie. It was a cool night but the patio was warm and the food was excellent (we had the duck and grouper). At the end Brandon gave us a small bottle of Cristalino brut for being caring pet owners. Would highly recommend this restaurant

  Nice patio area. Excellent service.

  The food was good and we enjoyed our lunch on the patio with our dog. Our waitress and service was excellent. Water bowl for our dog. My only complaint was that we were sitting in the sun. Turns out they just trimmed some branches, which eliminated the shade on our table. They said they would fix it tomorrow.

  Outstanding!

  EXcellent service and food. We just stopped in for an appetizer and beer. Scallops with pork belly, cheese grits and carmelized onions was one of the best things we’ve had anywhere. We’ll be back! And nice to see them taking social distancing so seriously!

  Wonderful food and staff

  We ate there yesterday with our three Westies. The staff was delightful, friendly and helpful. Water was provided as soon as we arrived and whenever they knocked it over. Add to that the food was wonderful, I actually had Oysters for both appetizer and dessert. We will return next time we are in the area.

  We needed somewhere , where the dogs would have shade(as today it is over 85F), As soon as we were seated, they brought out water with ice in it for both of my 113 lb dogs.
  We had a delicious lunch with a local beer to wash it down. The dogs were comfortable in the shade and had plenty of squirrel to watch running up and down the trees near us.

  Not only was the food delicious, but they got us right in with both dogs. Highly recommend!

  Destiny (our waitress) made our Puupy’s dinner dreams come true.

  The hostess immediately sat us at a perfect table for a puppy, in a quiet corner. Our waitress brought a water bowl before we even had a chance to ask. The human food was fantastic. The filet was so tender and the parchment paper wrapped fish was perfect. We’re so grateful they were such fantastic human and canine hosts. I highly recommend for dining near Colonial Williamsburg with a Fido friend.

  Great with Dogs!

  We brought our two dogs here while having some time to kill. One of our dogs is a rescue we have only had 2 months who hasn’t been in this environment before. The staff was wonderful. We got there a few minutes after 4 when the Tap House portion opened so nobody had sat down yet. They put us at a table towards the back so our dogs could have some space. They brought a water bowl for them and any staff member that walked by asked before they pet them. What a Wonderful find and should we be in Williamsburg again, we would definitely take them back!

  Went there with our Belgium Mal and sat outside. The staff was very accommodating and the food was top shelf, Will definitely go back!!!!

  Happy Hour

  Went for happy hour only, but dogs were welcome at Berret's outdoor seating. Waiter brought out a bowl of water for pup especially on a warm day like roday.

  Lovely surprise

  An upscale restaurant with a casual outdoor patio for our pooch. So many times we are turned away from restaurants because of our pet. The manager and our server were gracious to us and our standard poodle. And gthe food was excellent.
