We were too full from Bow Picker to eat any more fries so we only got ice cream and pup cups. The pup cups were frozen broth based treats that our dogs lapped up while we sat at tables in their shady breezeway. Plenty of water bowls and sunnier steps to hang out on nearby. It was an actual dog friendly place and so good it's a destination even without your pups!

Tu locally owned ice cream with fantastic unique flavors. There is covered seating and a bathroom for customer use.
Wonderful and friendly staff.
A++, would ice cream again! - AngieSep 7, 2019Love the Covered Patio
We got to Frite & Scoop right after it opened for the day & it was already really busy but we didn't mind. They have a covered patio & a water bowl for dogs. The fries & ice cream are amazing! I had the foggy lemon which was so yummy. I was bummed when they weren't open the next 2 days we were in Astoria because we would have gone there every day! Most of the stuff is gluten free and they got a clean scoop for me since I have celiac. If you follow them online you can find out the flavors of the day before you arrive. There were lots of doggies there which was great to see. My dog crawled under the table & rested while we ate like she usually does. I wish more places were as dog friendly as this place! There should be a frite & scoop in every town in the US!
- M gJul 6, 2018Great covered patio seating
Most “dog-friendly” places are really just a couple of tables outdoors but this place has a nice covered patio with picnic tables. Awesome tasting ice creams with interesting flavor combinations like earl grey/lemon sorbet and espresso/cardamom. The frites are great with great aioli choices like malt vinegar and Thai chili. Will definitely be back!
