  Great spot for lunch w/dogs!!

  Our dogs loved coming here, where they were provided with a dog blanket, dog menu, water bowls, and treats. Everybody was happy on the gorgeous patio!

  Poor service

  Very slow service. We waited 15 minutes with 2 well behaved dogs for them to clear a table. They then gave the table to someone else that was behind us in line. We left and ate elsewhere.

  Not only was our pup welcome, they have a basket of blankets and a dog menu. And the people food was great. We tried to find a dog friendly patio with heaters in Morro Bay and couldn’t, but just a few miles away was this great place!

  Very Doggy Friendly

  Good size outdoor patio along street side. Food was good and service was better. Dog bowls offered upon seating and a dig menu. Burger, Chicken. Definitely recommend if in Cayucos.

  Ok food. Very dog friendly, service was slow though. Prices were a little high but all in all it's ok.

  Great Dog-Friendly Place

  Sea Shanty has decent food, but best of all, allows your pet to sit with you on the outside patio. They had water bowls (if you ask/need them) and doggy biscuits/treats. Actually, when the manager/owner walked past us, he asked if our pup had been given his treat! Kind staff and food is overall good for American-style stuff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stop here w/ Boots (my pup) again.

  We enjoyed our lunch here plus desserts. Bentley did well. Several other dogs there as well. Defiantly would go there again.

  Good Stuff

  We stopped here for the first time and it was good! Staff were friendly, prices were good, and the food was good. The patio was heated and there were water bowls and treats for the dogs! We’ll be back the next trip for sure.

  First time here, great Steak and Chicken Sandwich. The salad was delish with ranch dressing. Took our small dog, he was welcome with open arms. Hard working staff, nice patron heaters

  This is such a welcoming place to take our pups. The food is excellent and they offer a great selection. The outside patio is very nice and has a lot of character. The staff was also very good and offered our dogs treats and water. This was our first visit to this small beach town and we loved it. But we particularly loved this restaurant and we ate here several mornings and evenings. We will definitely be back!

  The food is good and the staff was great. We had a party of 13 plus a dog on a Sunday afternoon in mid July and they made it work!! The patio is covered and blocked from most of the wind and they have heaters to keep it comfortable.

  There was plastic in my salad and they were unable to take the charge off the bill. I don't eat plastic so my dog and I will not be back.

  Good Food and Dog Friendly

  Enjoyed the food with good and friendly service. Love that they are so friendly about bringing the 4 legged babies. Thank You. Woof woof .

  Had a lovely dinner with the dogs.

  They have easy access to the patio from the street, a bar rail that you can tie your leash to, and great heaters to keep you warm even when the cool ocean air threatens to ruin your dining experience. Food and service get a B- but dog friendly is an understatement, they even had doggie treats for our pooches! There is a park next door so you can go for an after dinner walk before a long drive home.
