  Great location and good food

  I ate at Darbster’s a few times during my vacation and I found the place well located, close to Lake Worth and Flager Drive. It was nice to sit and eat next to my dog. They serve good healthy food. Profits go to a foundation.

  dog friendly restaurant

  We were told to pick any seat we wanted with our dog. We picked a spot overlooking the water. My puppy wanted to lay on the “grass” which appeared to be fake grass. Unfortunately, he picked up some gum that had been left by previous visitors. Need to clean up the garden to make more pet friendly.
  The food was OK. We had the portabella cheesesteak. I found the cheese to be a little bit oily in taste.

  Thought it was strange that a dog friendly restaurant didn’t offer a bowl of water to my dog. Fortunately I had my own bowls and shared my water with him.

  Dog Inspired Rest

  This place was named after the owners dog. Dogs are always welcome and on Sunday nights if you bring your dog you get a 20% discount. And food is great
