- GumboSep 17, 2022Welcome…until we weren’t
We have been to Blue Mountain several times, and were having a great time today. Our waitress was fantastic, and so were all of the other waitstaff in our area. They were SUPER friendly to our dog and all the others. We were there for 3 hours and ordered food and lots of drinks. Our dog was calm the whole time we were there and showed no signs of aggression, nor has he ever. There were other smaller dogs barking, snarling, and even lunging at dogs that would walk by.
The problem arose when another waiter who wasn’t even working in our section came down and told us off for having our dog (who was on a leash) in the grass to run off some energy. We were far from any tables and not bothering anyone. Over the course of the 3 hours we were there, we had been in the grassy area a few times with no issues - none of the waitstaff told us it wasn’t allowed. Despite having a great experience with all other staff, this one waiter went out of his way and immediately ruined our experience and made us feel entirely unwelcome. None of the people with misbehaving dogs were spoken to, but our Rottweiler was the issue (he’s a huge marshmallow and had fun up until then saying hi to other dogs and kissing little kids). We were planning to stay longer and spent more money on drinks and dessert. I don’t know if we’ll go back. Again, all of the other staff and even the manager we spoke to on the phone were great, but this one person really soured the experience. - HeidiAug 27, 2022Lovely dinner with our puppy
Seemed very dog friendly to us. We were seated for dinner with our puppy. I did not see a specific dog area or rules we just said we had a puppy with us and were seated at a nice table. Service was great also and the food is always delicious. I like that they also serve wine even though it's a brewery.

They say they are pet friendly, and in a way they are, because the staff loved on our dog. But with the harsh rules in the dog area and the tight area, it didn’t feel that way. One of the rules was not allowing other people to pet your dog, but you are literally so close to anyone they couldn’t help even just brushing up against any of the dogs. Didn’t feel welcoming. Wish they would have a little bit bigger area to spread out. When our dog laid down next to our table he was fully in the walk way.

Dogs are welcome in a relatively large seating area on the lawn at the brewery (picnic tables and metal tables / chairs for humans). As others have pointed out, they have some strongly worded policies that are a result of local ordinances / some legal action from years ago. While that might sound off-putting to some, we have found them to be very welcoming to dogs (we've been there when there were easily 15-20 dogs hanging out with their owners). I guess because of circumstances, they were put in a position where they needed to set up strong policies, but the reality seems to be that if your dog generally does pretty well at these sorts of establishments, you're not going to run into any issues / you'll easily be able to have a relaxed time hanging out with your dog.

separate dog area that is not covered. lots of non dog friendly language.
- CristinaApr 19, 2021Nice spot
Seated quickly. it was nice where I was sat was separated from the traffic of people coming in. Food was quick and tasted good especially after a long hike. I can’t complain it was pretty chill.
- AmyApr 17, 2021Easy outdoor dining
Large, popular facility with lots of outdoor seating for you and your pup.
- MichaelNov 28, 2020Sit With Your Dog In The Dark
Despite there being 2 empty outside tents, they send dog owners to freeze with their furbabies in 40 degree temperature in the pitch black on their lawn tables. literally cannot see the menu it’s so dark.
Don’t let the dog collars and dog bowl merchandise fool you - they are not dog friendly . If you don’t fancy sitting in the dark with your dog freezing your butt off, find another brewery .

If you are searching for a place to take your pup along and enjoy a great drink with with a view....this is it. Taco Tuesday was a pleasant bonus. Staff was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Patio area is for dog owners and well shaded.

Visited this brewery twice now - only once with my dog. They have an outdoor dog area where you can eat with your dog. Both times I've gone the people I was with didn't really love their food. However, I got the BBQ both times and really enjoyed it. I'm not a beer drinker, but they have some local ciders that are nice.

huge outside area very family oriented with lots of room for kids to play. Terrific mountain view. great choice of beers (and some good wines too) and a nice menu that includes gluten free options. The absolute only reason it isn't a 5 bone is the quality of the food while excellent wouldn't meet the category of a "five star" restaurant. Go and enjoy, you won't regret it, and like most of us you'll be coming back again and again.
