- AbbieJun 23, 2024Perfect for Winnie!
Place is upstairs and the elevator is in a gift shop. That took a minute to figure out, no signs anywhere that we could see. Had a great selection of food. We sat in the corner. They brought out a dog bone tray for Winnie our Boston Terrier to put her water and for her food. She had the salmon with carrots and wild rice. I had the seafood saute, it was wonderful. My husband had the cioppino, he wasn’t in love with it but it was good. All and all it was a great meal.
- HeidiSep 10, 2023Excellent Food
We loved this restaurant. The food was great and the view was outstanding. We brought Daisy with us for dinner and she was very comfortable resting while we were eating. The staff brought out a water bowl for her. Our dog is a Berner puppy who cannot walk stairs. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and unknowingly, we carried Daisy up the stairs. However, there is an elevator which we should've asked about. No need to walk or carry your dog up the stairs. They advertise heating units outside on the patio. I only saw one table with a heating lamp. It does get a little cool in the evening on the patio so bring a jacket. We would recommend this restaurant overall. The service was wonderful and the food was great.
- KatieApr 21, 2023Great food with a great view
Beautiful view of the ocean while enjoying a yummy meal with your pup. Others have mentioned a dog menu, but it must have been removed. No worries- still definitely worth checking out!
- AndySep 24, 2022Great view and VERY dog friendly
Everyone was so welcoming to humans and canines. Nice balcony table with just enough room for our portable doggie bed. Dog menu was fun - we got pup the salmon, wild rice, and carrots (humans got fish & chips, clam linguini, and clam chowder - the classics - which were spot-on traditional). Amazing view of the Monterey Bay. What a find! Best off-season (otherwise crazy).
- DanielleAug 7, 2022Delicious Food &View, Very Nice to our Pup
We were seated on the patio with our pup. They brought her a water bowl and a dog menu for dinner. We were so happy to be having a meal out with our dog, we've never seen a dog menu before! She very much enjoyed her chicken/rice and my husband and I loved our pasta. Friendly staff, great view of the bay.
- DeborahJul 12, 2021Good food
The food was good and friendly server, but we were not offered a dog menu or water—- just a spot on the patio where we had to shimmy by other tables awkwardly to get to it. I would call them “pet accommodating”rather than “pet friendly.” But the food was delicious and the pup shared my spaghetti and meatballs.

Great place, great location, great view, great food, great menu for dogs! Our boys loved their chicken, rice & carrots bowl!
- RaymondApr 22, 2021Great food and views
Service was prompt and friendly. Treated our dog like another guest. Fido menu and bone shaped serving platter is a great touch. Seafood was fresh and cooked properly and you can’t beat the views from the heated patio.
- LisaFeb 23, 2020Dog food menu available!
Dog friendly outdoor patio (heated)! There's even a special doggy menu to choose from for your fur baby. My server brought out a bowl of water for my dog. There's a parking garage or on street parking to choose from.
Now about the food; super flavorful. Their crab cakes did not disappoint and their clam chowder was good as well. It's a bit pricey, however the food tasted fresh, which is a MUST when you're eating seafood.

Have been here on multiple occasions without the dog but now we brought her. The hostess was nice and even though they were packed we were able to get a seat in the patio with a reasonable wait time. Had to ask for the dog menu from the hostess. Our server was nice and checked on us multiple times. The dog friendly menu costs from $8-11 depending on what meat you’d like. What ticked me off a bit was how the other dog was treated— as soon as the couple with the dog came and got seated their dog was given a nice bone shaped tray with a water bowl. We did not have the same experience. We took out our own water and bowl. I wish they offered the same services to everyone. The view is nice, though.
- RobinMore than a year agoNOT the Hostess with the mostest!!
We showed up with our pup around 8:00 pm. I went in and told the hostess I have a dog and need a table for 2. She told me it would be a 30 minute wait. I told her we would be waiting outside, and again told her “because we have a dog”. After about 40 minutes I went back in to check on our table. She told me “ I already called you” a while ago. I told her again we have a dog and were waiting outside. She never came out looking for us. Her reply was “would you like a table inside or outside?” REALLY...again...we have a dog with us!! This gal was way to busy chatting with her co-workers to pay any attention to her job. We finally received a table and menus. Then we had to endure the wait for the waiter. We became so disappointed and frustrated that we finally just got up and left hungry! I would not suggest this place ever!!

We came with both our dogs they not only have a dog menu, they can make gluten free options.
- RobertaMore than a year agodog friendly patio with awesome view
My pup and I came by for happy hour and had a great time. They brought her water and a placemat.
- RudderMore than a year agoExcellent view, staff, and food
My humans and I loved this restaurant the most on our trip. My humans had their crab soup and salad. The server promptly brought a water in a clean plastic dish. The space was busy on the balcony but had a perfect sunset view. We highly recommend this place for humans looking for variety and delicious food on Cannery Row.
Tip would be to take the side elevator. It takes you to the hostess stand without worrying about stairs (which are tough for stumpy bulldog puppies).
