This was our first time coming to Big Bear Lake Brewery and both the guy that seated us and our waitress were super friendly. Brought our dog Rocket and bowl of water and they kept it filled for him and the other dogs on the patio. Food was good also. Only complaint was I wish the beer was a little bit colder, but all in all a great experience!

Great service, got seated right away but only 4 outdoor tables so may be a small wait. Food was typically pub fare, but they did have a pretty limited. selection considering it was a a brewery and they were out of a flavor we wanted. The host immediately gave us a water bowl for our pup and later came back with a small serving of bacon for her, so sweet!

Saw some dogs on the patio. After walking around The Village we stumbled upon the brewery, I’m lying I’ve been here before…. I want to say for Octoberfest many years ago. At the time I was pretty toasted, during my visit I was sober. Lol
It was a nice day out so we decided on the patio, the waitress was fast and friendly. Nice enough to give us small samples.
What we got
The flight
Honey Blonde – 3/5 light honey taste
Blueberry Raspberry Blonde – 5/5 Best one
Mosaic Wheat – 4/5 second favorite
Pineapple Wheat – 1/5 Did someone spill sanitizer in here? It was terrible.
Porter- 3/5 it wasn’t as bold as other places
Citrus Wheat – 3/5 didn’t leave an impression
Overall – 3/5Food
Weekly Special- 3 way pretzel – Regular, Pepperoni and cheese, Dessert style with cinnamon and sugar. I have to give kudos to the chef in finding a way to use day old pretzels. I thought we would’ve gotten fresh pretzels when it came to the regular but it didn’t taste that way. The pepperoni and cheese could’ve been better, no flavor add Italian seasoning to the tomato sauce, the “Churro” style was the saver here.. 2/5Santa Fe chicken Salad - Spicy chicken, spring mix, tomatoes, roasted corn, olives, bell peppers, black beans, avocado, cilantro, tortilla chips with lime cilantro dressing. This was delicious I would have it again. 4/5
Prosciutto Apple Pesto Pizza - Pesto, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto, apple, basil, caramelized onion, balsamic drizzle. This was also very good but such a small portion. I get it the cost of prosciutto, pesto and basil is high. 5/5
I really enjoy supporting small business after skimming through their website and reading the brewing process, I just had to share ..
At Big Bear Lake Brewing Company, our brewing process combines old world traditional methods with state-of-the-art modern equipment, and utilizes only the finest raw materials obtainable. Mix all of that with our brewers’ history in the craft and conscientious attention to detail and you get beer that is not only delicious, but consistently delicious.
WATER SOURCE
The deep aquifers surrounding the Big Bear Valley, supplied by natural snow fall and rain, provide natural spring water to the town and Big Bear Lake Brewing Company with excellent naturally sourced brewing water. - KerilyDec 30, 2019Amazing and welcoming!
I think maybe they have new ownership. The front porch is small but dogs are welcome inside (handy in winter!). And got a little treat for free.
Small human menu but tasty food. Great beer. - NatalieOct 16, 2019Patio Heaters, Friendly Service
We stopped here on a slow Wednesday afternoon, they have a small patio section in the front with maybe 4-6 tables, which is sufficient. They all have heaters, and when we sat down, our server came out immediately to bring us a bowl of water and turn on the heaters. I had a flight of the beers, which were all pretty good. Husband had the red ale which he didn’t care for. Great service, although we were the only patrons at the time.

They get no bone. Waited 30 mins for a table, which sat open the whole time we waited, then after they seat us one one would wait on your table! Very pour management! I must give them a bone to post

Had snowed a few days prior so it was very busy. Patio had heaters. Food was great, waitress was very kind and offered our dog a plate of bacon after asking first. will definitively return
- CarrieMore than a year agoslowest service ever!
Patio was dog friendly, staff was friendly enough, beer was good. Food was average bar food, but we were the only table and our food, beer, everything took forever. Won't be going back.
- GinMore than a year agovery poor service
The patio is very small but that was ok because I just wanted a quick beer and some water for my dogs. Water bowls were dirty and five inured after I ordered I still didn't have my beer so I left and went to 572. Got my beer and FRESH water right away!!!!
