  Hidden Gem

  Tucked in off the street, Lori’s offers a pretty plant-filled setting. It was quiet, the staff super friendly and the food was very good. The Chicken Salad sandwich was huge! They make dogs feel welcome, with treats and big fresh water bowls. So many things in the menu look delicious, it might take several more visits to taste them.

  Great little cafe tucked into a courtyard. Super friendly staff, very dog friendly. Amazing bacon egg and cheese and perfect iced coffee.

  Hidden Gem in the Heart of Rehoboth

  We happened upon Lori's when searching for pet friendly dining while at the beach last week. This little cafe is tucked up into a courtyard on Baltimore Avenue which is just a street off of the main drag in Rehoboth and there are plenty of tables outside and a couple inside as well. We stopped here for lunch before heading to our Motel and I got the "Chicken Salad to Die For" and let me just say that the name applies totally. I chose marble rye and I could barely fit my mouth around the bread to get a bite, it was "ginormous" and the chicken salad had chunks of tart apples, toasted walnuts and blue cheese, topped with ripe tomatoes and lettuce and was quite honestly the best chicken salad I have ever tasted and they serve their sandwiches with a pickle and corn tortilla chips which is a nice change. Hubby went with Tyler's Cordon Bleu which is a scoop of chicken salad, topped with a slice of ham and served on an English muffin and he loved it, in fact he scarfed it down so fast I can only assume he was afraid I was going to ask to try a bite and he didn't want to share. On one of our last days at the beach we returned for breakfast sandwiches which were also delicious, all of the breads are freshly made and you can choose from any of the sandwiches on the menu or build your own, all at very reasonable prices. Even our Golden Retriever loved the place, they brought him fresh water and I got a side of bacon for him which he thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to heading back down in June to try some of the salads.

  Great Breakfast!

  Nice little cafe for breakfast. Food is great and nice outdoor area to enjoy your food. Highly recommend! Water dishes for dogs.
