- LoriMore than a year agoCrowded patio seating & not very dog friendly
Along the same lines as the experience one of the other reviewer’s had… Probably will not dining here again. The outdoor patio seating is way, way overpacked with tables and chairs. You can hardly move as a human let alone a dog. Also, you’re right next to the creek and a busy little trail which is very distracting to bird dogs, haha! We had a situation where some folks brought 3 dogs that were not very friendly, they had to be tied outside the fence of the patio seating and they kept trying to attack people walking by. Not good.

Restaurant has outside patio with many tables, however, we were advised the dogs must be tied outside the patio on the opposite side of the fence. This was okay as tables were next to the small fence, however, our dog kept coming through the holes in the fence. This made it a bit uncomfortable for us. That being said we weren't told off for this. Restaurant had several dogs coming and going, which is good, but was unsettling for our dog especially as she wasn't allowed to be sitting with us at our table. Food was generally good.

Lovely patio wraps around the outside of the restaurant, giving pup and owner a gorgeous view of Gore Creek. Plenty of tables and in beautiful weather parties without dogs mingle with those who have theirs with them. I had beef carpaccio which was divine and the best warm, crusty rolls I've had in a long time. Max enjoyed getting a few bites of my goodies.
