Mixed feelings
Affordable Suites of America Detroit-WarrenUpon arrival this hotel seemed to be in a nice quiet suburb type location. However, it soon seemed clear that the hotel is full of long term residents. Weed smell throughout the corridors, sometimes people hanging around. Noise from room upstairs almost constant. Dog poop everywhere outside. Rooms very spacious, but run down and attention to detail very poor in terms of cleanliness. However, we were travelling with two very large dogs so it did provide a fairly dog friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Our dogs do occasionally bark when people walk past the room, but we didn't feel worried about that there!

The Mason Jar CafeBrought dog water. Allowed dogs in outdoor area. Staff were nice to dog.

Nice atmosphere
Red Mountain GrillThe patio allows dogs. Plenty of tables and nice atmosphere. Food was good, however service was a little slow.

Our review
Up the CreekRestaurant has outside patio with many tables, however, we were advised the dogs must be tied outside the patio on the opposite side of the fence. This was okay as tables were next to the small fence, however, our dog kept coming through the holes in the fence. This made it a bit uncomfortable for us. That being said we weren't told off for this. Restaurant had several dogs coming and going, which is good, but was unsettling for our dog especially as she wasn't allowed to be sitting with us at our table. Food was generally good.

Welcoming
Rock Inn Mountain TavernWelcomed our dog to be on their covered outdoor patio. Gave our dog water and service was very friendly. Food was very good as well as offering a wider selection than many standard taverns.

Nice eat out
Tim's TooLimited selection of tables on the sidewalk. However, staff are very friendly towards dogs and got our dog a bowl of water. Nice casual get your own stir-fry restaurant.

Nice spot
Gravity Haus VailStaff were welcoming with the dog. Very good complimentary breakfast. Rooms were spacious, quiet, and good quality. Overall we had a very comfortable stay here. Also, nice river walk at the back of the hotel with free dog waste bags.

Area nice
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Denver Boulder-LouisvilleArea was nice. Large grassy area nearby. Hotel room was spacious and modern with hard floors which was convenient for us. Hotel located by nice shopping plaza. Room was noisy from air conditioner vibration and nearby maintenance room that had pump kicking on and off every few minutes.

Good with dog
Howard Johnson by Wyndham GothenburgStayed one night here. Hotel is situated by gas station with trucks over nighting, which may not be ideal for some. However, are stay was good. Hotel as expected. Hotel staff was great with dog. Large amount of grass around hotel.

Best Western Alpenglo LodgeGood breakfast, friendly staff, dog was treated well. Room was nice. Location was good, large grass area beside carpark to take dog.
