  I’m giving them 5 stars before the food even came

  Lovely spot by the water. Staff could not have been nicer. Super accommodating. They brought the dogs water and even gave them some love. Fortunately another dog family with a pup off leash - approaching and barking at every other dog that came near the entrance to the patio didn’t stay long (This what keeps more places from letting us have nice things and I’m so grateful this establishment sees past it!) If traveling alone with your dogs, come around back to the river walk patio and wave down an employee - they’ll take care of you from there.

  Great when it’s raining

  Mason’s is one of the few places I found that has covered outdoor seating. It was great in the rain! The dog entrance is around back so just walk around the building and you’ll see the picnic benches. Masons has a few things on the menu that are pup-friendly and make their own sweet potato dog treats. Our 80lb doggo had a great time.

  Heated Patio!

  We visited on a cold, rainy November evening. The staff turned on the patio heater, so we could enjoy dinner with our pups. They provided our pups with a water bowl. Tasty drinks and dinner.

  Ab Fab!

  Lovely heated outdoor patio next to the water. Beautiful view, absolutely great service, and fabulous food. We had the Philly handheld and side salad (with tasty blue cheese dressing), the original burger and hand cut fries, and our Bernerdoodle opted for the grilled chicken breast from the pup menu. Definitely recommend!

  Very accommodating and friendly!

  Cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff! So friendly and accommodating. Brought out water. The patio area is large and spacious with great views. Part of it is covered, so as long as it’s not raining sideways, you’re in good shape. AMAZING food & beer! Have heaters as well.

  Amazing food, dog-friendly patio

  Our family stopped here while on vacation - 2 adults, 2 teens, and our husky. There is a large spacious covered patio that is dog-friendly, along some grass and overlooking the river. They brought water and even took pictures of our pup for their Instagram page. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding - some of the best we had on our vacation. We ordered the Drunk Dog 2022, The Best Damn Pepperoni Pie, Sweetest Mess Burger, and King's Cupboard Philly. We'd eat here again in a heartbeat if we are ever in the area again!

  Wonderful all around!

  Beautiful patio, tasty food, good beers, and really lovely staff. Visiting here was a bright spot street a long day of driving.

  Beautiful Spot!

  Great Brewery with awesome food. The beer, pretzel, and pizza were delicious! Awesome large dog friendly patio. They even turned on the fire pit and heater for us during the chiller weather. Great service!

  Great place for you and your dog!

  We discovered this place on a recent trip to Bangor and really enjoyed it. Great food, beer, and location by the river. Just as nice was how friendly and welcoming the staff was. We never felt like the dog was an inconvenience as can happen in some places. It was a very hot day and they even went the extra mile by providing her with ice water. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

  Perfect Dog Spot

  Always a first choice is we are bringing the pups. The staff absolutely love them. They always get served water before us. In my opinion this is great. Would highly recommend giving this place a try.

  Great food and drink and very dog friendly!!

  We were visiting Bangor, ME and were looking for a dinner spot that was dog friendly for us to actually have a sit down meal on our road trip and found Mason’s. First off it has a great atmosphere as it is right on the water. Next they are super dog friendly as we could sit in their outdoor seating, the staff stopped by to make our dog feel welcome and our waiter brought our dog a water bowl! Then we got a few beers and some food and they were all excellent!! I wished this place was in my home town! If/when I return to the area, I will definitely have Mason’s as a must stop!

  Perfect pairing for people and dogs!

  Beautiful view!
  Food and drinks were delicious, and the menu had a variety of items to choose fun. The staff was super friendly to our dogs, and they even brought them a bowl of water. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the spectacular view, and the Riverwalk is perfect for walking your dogs while waiting to be seated, or just a fun after dinner stroll.

  Mason's is absolutely everything. Beautiful outdoor seating on the Penobscot River and a staff that not only loves their craft of brews and food but also PUPS! Greated our two girls with biscuits & water((:
