  Great food and a great dog experience.

  My dog and I would recommand McCarthy's Red Stag Pub. Food was great, including the dog biscuits, and the Guinness was a perfect pour. Shady side street patio was just what we needed on a hot summer day.

  Chicken dinner!

  Went with my dad and hubby to have some Irish fare. Lucy was even treated to her own bowl of chicken stew! And the human food and drink was good too. Would post a photo but all you see is her head inside the bowl!

  She loves it!

  Brough my pooch here to celebrate her first day without her cone after surgery. She got the chicken meal, with big pieces of chicken breast, rice, and shredded carrot. Staff is very dog friendly. Thanks for giving us a nice afternoon!

  Phoenix Felt Like He Was In Dublin

  Super dog friendly! Don’t look for this place on Main Street. It’s actually on a quiet side street with a Donegal storefront on Main. Phoenix loved our shady table and friendly service. Best doggy dinner yet!

  The staff is great and Wyatt loved saying hi and bye to all the other patrons! Great idea to add a pup menu!

  Enjoyable Summer Night

  Very nice and dog friendly on the Patty-O at McCarthy’s. Out pup loved the chicken and rice doggie bowl and our human dinners were delicious as well! Healthy options for the kids too!

  Doggie menu!

  We love this place! The owner, Neville, has dogs of his own, so knows how to take care of diners both bipedal and four-legged. You can get rice, beef and rice, or chicken and rice for your dog for about $5 each. I’ve had meals several times on their “patty-o” on many sunny days. They always remember to water your dog first and foremost. And the human food and drinks are authentic Irish fare as well.

  Great Experience!

  For our first time there, we can say we had a wonderful experience! The staff was great and friendly to both us and our pup. The best part was the dog menu! We can’t wait to go back!

  McCarthy’s offers a dog menu and doggie specials on Mondays. The human food is delicious and the servers are all very friendly too!
