  called ahead to make sure they were dog friendly. The manager even made sure to have a table on the porch ready upon our arrival ( they had a huge storm roll through before we got there)
  super accommodating, delicious human food and the BEST PART was they even had a dog meal with rice and beef served in a frisbee! very cool

  Quick and helpful service, tasty eats and very dog friendly.

  Went here on a warm yet rainy day and server immediately greeted us and our two pups, offered to switch areas to get out of sun and then rain and served us fast with good food. Dogs had water bowl immediately. Patrons were also very dog friendly,

  The good reviews are inaccurate

  Server was not friendly, the place was empty but it felt like they all had something better to do than to earn their tip -- imagine trying to get the attention of college-aged people who are hanging out... Left a 20% because I am generous but in all actuality it was a 15% experience. The arugula in my burger had no taste, and the menu only had one choice for kids.
  You'll be disappointed.

  Great for dogs!

  friendly staff who made sure both my dogs got water! she told me about some places to check out since I told her we were in town visiting. my dogs enjoyed the doggie entree as well.

  fantastic patio. The place is an old house with lots of outdoor seating. Good food. Mother Road brews.

  Great Dog-Friendly Patio

  This restaurant is probably the most dog friendly we found in Prescott - which is quite an accomplishment, considering there are many great places. The patio is really nice with comfortable seating for the humans. They even has an entree on the menu for dogs.

  They are very dog friendly and there were several other pups on the patio that we got to say hello to. The food and drinks are amazing as well!

  Amazing!!!!!

  The food was amazing, the drinks, the service, & of course the dog friendliness. Ugo was served his own dinner on a frisbee & he ate it, he is a very picky eater. Highly recommended with or without a pet.

  Even in the winter, patio dining with heaters and our Gidget was perfect. Great drink, great food, great service. The truffle Mac n’ cheese, Brussels sprouts, burger and patty melt were amazing. so fresh!

  Great Food, Beer and Hospitality

  very pet friendly. we could sit anywhere we wanted outside. lots of shade. my dog is blind and they were so accommodating. brought him a bowl of water and let him relax as he wanted. he was happy so I was able to enjoy a great burger and great beer on draft!

  Really Loved This Place

  We had a party of 4 humans and our 100 lb pup with us. The outdoor seating was great with plenty of shade and room for our dog to spread out on the ground. They brought him water and a frisbee with chicken and rice on it. He had a great time. For the humans we enjoyed great modern food and drinks. Very fast service.

  I would definitely recommend to others, and we will be returning next time we are in Prescott.

  Disappointment

  Place came highly reviewed so we were excited for our dogs first doggie dining experience. From the moment we walked in it was a disappointing experience. Service was sub par, nothing was ever brought for our dog or even asked if he needed water or anything. Yet several other customers were brought water upon arrival by other servers. As for human end of things no silverware, no sweetener brought for my tea even after requesting it. My food was overcooked, we were charged wrong for my sons food, just one thing after another. Gravely disappointed.

  Excellent food & atmosphere

  We found The Barely Hound on BringFido.com and decided to dine there because they are dog friendly. Um. I don't even know where to even begin. We were completely blown away!! The food was AMAZING-I highly recommend the Idaho trout, truffle rosemary garlic fries and the Thai-ish wings. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was excellent, the food was excellent... If I could give this spot ten stars I would!! Oh and did I mention that they brought our doxies a dish of their own cool water to drink? AND they have a doggy menu? Well they do! If your visiting Prescott, or you live there, you should eat there!! It'll be a favorite I'm sure of it.

  Great food and awesome atmosphere for your dog! Water bowls and menu food for dogs. Our burgers were delicious! We will be back!

  YES Really Dog Friendly

  I love to give my business to places that are truly dog friendly! Barley Hound hits that mark! They have a dog menu, brings water to your dog and the staff are super friendly and love dogs. Food was wonderful and not typical as well! The Duck Tacos - Yum! Will be back!

  OUTSTANDING!!!

  Wonderful restaurant! Outside patio was large enough for us, and several other doggies with their owners. Water bowls were brought and even a dog cookie was offered! Food was not your usual fair. I had Idaho Trout! It was fabulous and lots of it. Husband had a burger - BIG & Delicious! Many different items on the menu. Wish we had more time to try them all out.

  Super cute place! The patio is great. Great tunes. The staff were all super friendly. Incredibly dog friendly with a small dog menu. The food is also great. Half priced bottles of Rose until 3 every day!

  Actually dog friendly, not just dog tolerant

  This place is GREAT! Several other "dog friendly" locations listed here are only a couple tables outside on a very busy walkway along Hwy 69, with lots of human and canine traffic. If your dog is timid or has some anxiety at all (as our dog does), these places are not ideal. This is just a block or so off the main road. The patio is not just accommodating for dogs, but truly dog friendly! And it is a real patio, not just some tables on the sidewalk. A bowl of water for our dog was brought out with our water. There is even a section of the menu for dogs featuring chicken & rice or steak & rice. The staff is very friendly with dogs and their people. The food is also excellent, and there is a great selection of local beer and wine. A great experience for us with our dog, we will definitely be back!
