  They brought water for my Buddy and didn't hesitate to welcome us with him. The staff was very friendly a.nd the food and drink were great! We'll be back!

  What an awesome place!

  My first trip out, and they certainly delivered. I’ll definitely bring the family here again. The wait staff was awesome, and there were even other pets there to play with. Likely our new favorite place.

  Perfect pup spot for any weather!

  Went here with my humans on a cold and rainy weekday for lunch and the covered patio had nice big heaters to keep us all toasty warm! Tons of space to ourselves, great food and drinks, and got to spend some time watching birds play in the puddles. The pavement was nice and dry and a great place for a nap while my humans chatted and ate. The host even gave me lots of attention when she brought out the menus!

  Great stop on way home from beach

  Very friendly staff. Brought our pup a big bowl of water and showered him with attention. They even brought him treats. Food was delicious and came out quickly. Large selection of beers. We didn’t try any but the cocktails looked delicious.

  Very Dog Friendly

  We had a great time at Grain! The outside seating is covered and heated which was a huge plus! Everyone was friendly and patient. They even offered to bring a bowl of water out for us :)

  A very nice dog friendly time

  we absolutely loved Grain! we came here with two of our pups who are bully breeds. They were welcomed with open arms. The manager even came over to say hi! It was a little chilly, but the dogs were allowed in the closed in patio area that has heaters. Delicious pub food, and we were even able to order some plain burger Pattie’s for our girls to eat while we were having dinner. Our waitress was kind, and her customer service was great. She even brought over a water bowl for our girls. Their craft beer list is nice. We really enjoyed ourselves. Would come back, and would recommend.

  Great Dog Friendly Place To Grab A Tasty Snack!

  Koda and I hit up Grain today for a post hike brunch meal and were extremely impressed with their dog friendly atmosphere and delicious menu! Grain’s dog seating is outside on their covered porch which has heaters so if you don’t have lots of fur you stay warm too! Staff was very friendly and brought Koda cookies and a water bowl. Definitely recommend if you and your fur baby are in the area!

  Super dog friendly!

  We visited Grain today while visiting our daughter at University of Delaware. The waitress was very attentive to our dog and provided him with a water bowl too. Would definitely go back!

  Very Welcoming

  Grain has a nice outdoor area; dogs are also permitted in the space under cover. The food was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It's always nice to find somewhere that allows your Best Buddy to join you instead of being left at home. We'll be back!

  Most Dog-Friendly Restaurant in Newark!

  Grain happily welcomes all dogs on their patio in Newark! They even have a tribute wall on the patio of portraits of all their doggie “regulars” and they have an Instagram page devoted to “Dogs of Grain” where they share photos of their doggie guests! The staff is always excited to see a dog come in and will bring out a water bowl and some treats for your buddy! We bring our dog, Willie, there a lot and he will pull us over to Grain if we are just walking down Main Street! You can bring your dog along year round as well thanks to their heater and their enclosed porch in the winter time! I have even ran into a doggie obedience class celebrating their graduation on the patio at Grain a couple times! The food and drink are good as well and their plain burgers are Willie approved!

  Great food, comfy atmosphere, dog friendly

  The food is worth coming to Main Street, staff is friendly, atmosphere is comfortable and dogs are welcomed!!
