  Food was great! No table service so not easy for solo traveler but fortunately weather was cool enough to leave my gal in the car while I ordered. No covered patio so had to leave when rain started but we will definitely be back!

  Good food

  We stopped here on vacation for a late supper with our dog. Very good sandwiches and delicious dessert cakes. Plenty of room to spread out at the outdoor tables. And very friendly people in the parking lot! Very good service

  Delicious and Dog Friendly!

  Ate here twice during our stay in Charleston. First time was take-out for a picnic with family and our doggie down at the Battery (which was really great, it becomes a dog park in the evening and my dog really enjoyed meeting many new canine friends, a very definite dog culture and a cool evening breeze!) We had a huge order and the patient, attentive staff nailed it. The deli style build your own and specialty sandwiches are awesome!
  Our second visit was for breakfast and we sat outside where there are several roomy tables and a nice grassy area, perfect for leashed dogs (pretty close to the road). Breakfast was just as delicious as the rest of the menu. They also have a great salad bar. Waiter brought my pup a bowl of water without being asked. Polite, friendly, comfortable and delicious. Highly recommended.

  Good Food, Great People

  We were stuck in Charleston with two senior labs after we evacuated Florida during Hurricane Irma. We had no idea how our dining experience would be, especially with two dogs joining us for lunch.

  East Bay Deli was a delight. We sat outside with the dogs in beautiful, cool weather. The food was great and the staff brought the labs souvenir bowls of ice water unsolicited. This was a nice touch.
