  Very dog friendly, great view

  right on the water and dogs are allowed in any of the outdoor areas. they brought our dog water even before us and were so friendly to him

  Wonderful Place

  We sat outside with our pup! He got a bowl of water before we even got our drinks! The food was delicious. Tons of dogs were there.

  So kind and accommodating!

  We came in the edge-season so we had no problem getting a nice table on the upper deck with a fantastic view of the lake, but covered because a storm looked to be rolling in. They were so nice to our pup and brought a water bowl right out. the storm turned out to be absolutely torrential and all of the other customers rushed inside because the rain was starting to get in even the covered areas. The kindly offered to let us sit inside even with the dog, and although we declined, the offer was so nice!
  The trout salad was also yummy and they have great fries!

  We took Jax here with us for lunch we all enjoyed it.

  not worth it

  I came on a Saturday around 7pm. Traffic is horrendous in this area of town and parking is almost non-existent. I was "lucky" to have found someplace to park within walking distance (I should have taken that as my first sign to choose somewhere else). When I found the place, no one acknowledged me or another patron I saw trying to get seated. The hostess seems to have other tasks to attend to in addition to seating people so her post seemed abandoned at first. Luckily, my dog was welcome, but not really acknowledged. I can live with that, but a different restaurant in town had been so friendly towards my dog that Christie's was weird simply by contrast. The service was pretty slow, and the food really was not worth the money. I ordered onion rings and crab cakes. The onion rings were edible, but the crab cakes were terrible. What a disappointment--the reason I chose this restaurant was because I was craving crab cakes... My dog ate some of it, but even he had to be convinced.

  Really, really bad food, and barely pet friendly

  This was hands down some of the worst food I've ever been served in a restaurant. The chicken and steak were so gross that even our dog didn't really want them. To top things off, we were told that dogs are not allowed on the front lakeview part of the balcony, so we had to sit on the side with the other (thankfully friendly dogs) crammed in between two other tables, with less room to move around than in many NYC restaurants. We also had to ask for water for our dog, which was eventually delivered about half way through our meal. Our advice: find another spot to dine with your dog at Lake George.

  great place for a break on the lake

  Stopped by for a late lunch. Big deck overlooking lake. Server even brought a bowl of water. Burgers, sandwiches, salads.

  Nice Beer. Good Music

  Nice tap beers. Good music overlooking the lake. Basic pub fare downstairs on the deck where we ate. Beer and locale was great. Food was okay. Onion rings a must. Dog friendly.
