  Great food, location and dog friendly!

  We stayed in Bar Harbor for 3 days and ended up at Paddy's for 2 meals. On both occasions we had a great meal and our dog was thrilled to sit and people/dog watch. Highly recommend!

  Perfect for us and 2 dogs!

  Very large outdoor patio section and very attentive to our two shih Tzu's. Food was pricey but worth it. Tender lobster and delicious lobster bisque! You must have lunch there for great location, food and view.

  Amazing place for dinner, view of ocean

  What a great place to stop for dinner, sat outside easily with Daisy our small dog. great food and drinks. outdoor patio across from the water. Waiter was super nice and brought out a bowl of water and later a crispy piece of bacon. Highly recommend!

  Incredible food and staff

  The food was incredible and fresh and my dog was very welcomed! The staff even gave him a bowl of water when we arrived and a piece of bacon before we left! Special thanks to our server Jaco :)

  Great food and very dog friendly

  The most friendly dog restaurant ever! The food is delicious. They have a covered patio with an ocean view. Brought my dog a large bowl of water, even offered to put a burger on the grill for her. Canines and humans agree this place is 5 stars or should I say bones!

  Great Location!

  Stumbled upon this place! They were supper friendly with the dogs on their patio! The patio was heated and the dogs have a choice of ice or not with their water! Definitely recommend!

  Excellent food and drinks, and so friendly!

  Beautiful patio space! Including heaters in the ceiling for when it’s chilly. Part covered, part uncovered. Staff were exceptionally friendly! Food was excellent and the cocktail/wine/whiskey menu excellent. 10/10 for traveling with pups!!

  Lovely resteraunt!

  Food was amazing, and had very good outdoor seating(shade) so that our dog was comfortable. The server was ignorant of us though.

  Great place for your furry friends!

  As soon as we were seated our waitress brought out waters for us and our pup! All of the staff were super sweet and loved giving pets to the dogs!

  Excellent food, dog-friendly patio

  Our family stopped here while on vacation - 2 adults, 2 teens, and our husky. Their patio is large and dog-friendly and you get a nice view of the harbor. The service was great and the food was excellent all-around. We ordered the lobster bisque, chicken Caesar salad, short rib, steak frites, hot corned beef sandwich, Guinness chocolate stout cake, blueberry pie, Irish bread pudding, and maple bourbon crème brulee. Everything was delicious and we'd definitely eat here again when in the area.

  Great staff and food!

  We enjoyed breakfast here one morning with our pup. The food and service were amazing and our pup got lots of love from the waitstaff! The only con was that most of the outdoor seating is close to the town sidewalk and our pup is too social to not demand attention from those passing by…lol

  Good Spot

  staff was very dog friendly to our two large pups. only complaint was they sat 4 tables with dogs right next to eachother. We were on the end so it was fine but the tables were very close together and the dogs had to lay next to the next tables dogs. Food was decent.

  Very accommodating restaurant for our dog. Brought water with ice for her on a very hot day in Bar Harbor ( almost 90). We were only going to have a drink but stayed for dinner. Food was very good as well. Not just pub fare but full quality menu. Would definitely recommend

  Very Welcoming

  We asked if we could sit on the patio with our pup and were met with a resounding “yes, we LOVE dogs”. She was served water and not only was our waiter petting her, other staff members stopped by to meet her as well. Food and drinks were great!

  Incredibly friendly!

  The day we visited, there were multiple rain storms rolling through the area, and despite the weather, they wiped off the table and chairs and immediately sat us down. They even brought two bowls of water for both of our dogs!
  The waitress was very friendly and respectful towards our pups and the food was amazing! We'll definitely be returning there the next time we're in Bar Harbor.

  Super dog friendly!

  We went here on a cold rainy night but were still able to have our dog. Part of their patio is under a roof and there are heaters outside! Not to mention the service was great and the food was delicious! The waitress even brought grilled chicken for my dog. Super excellent service and food and incredibly dog friendly. I highly recommend.

  Great Service, Very Pet Friendly!

  Awesome pet friendly place right on the water. The staff not only accommodated dogs, but seemed excited to see them! My dog and I sat on the patio next to another couple with a dog. They bring out a water bowl for each dog, too.

  Amazing!

  We came right before the season opened and were thrilled Paddy’s was open and let us bring our pups. Everyone was friendly with us and our dogs and immediately made sure they had water and felt welcome. The outside patio area is the perfect spot to eat lunch and the overhead heaters made it comfortable even though it was slightly chilly out. Beyond that, the service was outstanding and the food was melt in your mouth delicious. Definitely a must visit if you are in Bar Habor and have your fur babies with you!

  Best dog friendly restaurant in Bar Harbor

  After being turned away or finding places closed for the season for 5 different restaurants claiming to be dog friensly, Paddy's was amazing and welcoming for us and our two goldens. Best location and great food. Sat with our dogs outside woth cieling space heaters and they brought water right away for our thirsty pups. Super friendly staff. Had the Roadhouse Ribeye and loved it. Really great cocktails (had a Maine blueberry martini) and beer selection. Some others had their dogs with them on patio and it was a great atmosphere.

  Great experience

  Visited this restaurant with my two bernese mountain dogs. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating with the dogs, even bringing them a bowl of water. They have outdoor seating allowing dogs in nice weather that overlooks the harbor, which is beautiful. Food was good with fairly large portions and the menu had a variety of options. Sandwiches/burgers with fries ($12-15) and also higher end meals ($22-30).

  Good food, good view

  Outside seating was nice and opened right into their normal seating inside. Waiter and host were both very pleasant to us and our dogs.
  Right along the harbor so you get to enjoy a view of the water and the boats.
  Food was pretty good too. Had a good selection of beer as well.

  Beautiful seaside patio in Bar Harbor. At least a dozen staff came out to welcome my Great Dane. Great service. Great experience.
