saw this place recommended by Bring Fido. they were soooo accommodating — got us to a table with heater overhead which was perfect for a cold night. they brought over a bowl of ice water before they took our drink order. there were 4 dogs and the waitress was so polite and friendly. so glad we got this app! staff were great !

Friendly staff, good prices for very simple food.
- AmyJul. 22, 2022Great Dog Friendly Place
We came here with our dog while visiting Mystic. It was our first time taking our dog to a restaurant and it was such a great experience. They gave us a nice shady table with a breeze, it was a very hot day, and brought us out a large bowl of water, one of the staff even gave him some carrots which he loved. Very friendly, definitely would go back!
- AprilJul. 4, 2021Great beer selection and pup friendly
It was the first time dinning with our pup and although we didn't stay long our server was very nice and gave us a stainless steel bowl of ice water which our pup loved without us even asking.
There is a large outdoor seating area which is perfect for bringing a dog.
Nice beer selection and food was tasty and reasonably priced.
Definitely would come here again when visiting Mystic.
- KarenJun. 20, 2021Perfect pup place to eat!
Perfect food, perfect beers, perfect cocktails, and perfect place for our pup to hang out with us. The staff even brought over a large bowl of ice water for our pup.
- AlyssaMay. 30, 2021Great food and beers
We were traveling with our dog and stopped by Jealous Monk. It was a cold and rainy day so there was plenty of covered, outdoor seating, and they turned on the heat lamps for us. They also brought out a bowl of water for the dog. Food and beers were delicious!
- MaryAug. 21, 2020Great Place
We actually came here twice during our visit. Both times were great and our pup was welcomed with open arms. The second time we went, our server brought a bowl of water and our pup was the only pup there. I think because there were several pups the first time we went was why no water bowl was brought out/offered. Food is good!
- DebSep. 27, 2019Perfect Spot
Our pup was totally spoiled by both the waitstaff and the dog loving customers! Great pub menu with plenty of local and domestic beers to choose from. The yard games were an added bonus!
- BonnieJun. 24, 2019Great place for a Saturday lunch
Arrived when Jelous One opened at 1130am on a Saturday. Had the entire outdoor area(very large) to choose from for seating. Definitely worth it coming before the summer rush. Offered a dog water bowl and not rushed at all. Definitely will come back with a larger group and our dog. Fun place , many beer choices and Bavarian style menu with amazing homemade chip nachos!!
- CharityJul. 4, 2018Just great!
We enjoyed a beer and great company with our dog in the outside space. It is set up with corn hole and fire pits.... just a very nice space. Staff and other patrons were more than gracious!
- LydiaMar. 11, 2018Great spot for dogs
We brought our dog here after a nice day of fetch at Copp Park in Groton and walking around Olde Mistick Village. Dogs are allowed in the beer garden, which has lots of seating and some fire pits. Go in to the bar and let them know you're outside with a dog, and they'll send a server out. Super dog friendly, great food and an extensive beer list. Perfect Sunday afternoon spot.

32 brews...how can you go wrong. Great Pretzel...gotta get it with the bier cheese. Great food. The outdoor beer garden is the best and very dog friendly. The staff was wonderful. They were great with our pup...even gave her homemade dog treats. This bar has a great atmosphere. I'd come back with or without our pup.
- MhariMore than a year agoBest place for you and your pup
This is my favorite place to go with or without my dog. This place has great beer, amazing food, an outdoor bar, tons of room inside and lots of grass outside. They are extremely welcoming to dogs. There are outdoor games and a fire pit that is raised up to bar height so you can rest your glass on the rocks but your pupper is in no risk of sparks or burns.
