Lake Agnes Tea House

Located near Lake Agnes, at an elevation of 7,005 feet (2,135 m), Lake Agnes Tea House is accessible only by a hiking trail and does not have electricity. Serving homemade breads, soups, sandwiches, and desserts along with 100 different types of teas, Lake Agnes Tea House is a popular, albeit difficult to get to, destination with visitors to the Lake Louise area. The hike is 4.5 miles (7 km) round-trip, takes 1-2 hours each way, and has an elevation gain of 1300 feet (400 m) over 2.1 miles (3.4 km) on the way up. The trail begins at Chateau Lake Louise.
