  I find that very odd. Next rule should be old people only allowed on Mondays before 5

  our dog got fresh water, he was allowed on the stand up paddle, and even without leash on their beach

  Horrible Service/ Breed Bullies

  We were out boating with our dogs on Saturday and came across The Getaway. We docked and I got down to check if they were dog friendly, immediately we noticed there were 2-3 dogs so we figured it was. I proceeded to tell our family to get down and brings the dogs. (We have a Golden Retriever and a Pittbull) immediately someone came over and said they only allowed dogs on Tueaday...however there were 3 dogs on premises that I could clearly see so I asked about the other dogs. They said they were “service dogs” - all 3 dogs of different owners wearing no vest at all. They asked if my dogs were service dogs and I said yes and he immediately looked at my Pitbull and said “I doubt it”. I was furious and left. If I could give zero stars/bones I would.

  We loved it!

  First note that they only allow dogs on TUESDAYS! :) FYI .. they were very dog friendly! My little dog sat on a bench seat with me the whole time (we went to a different restaurant that didn't allow that). Great environment! Great view. Food was okay, we tried a couple things that were new to us that we weren't a fan of but I guess it depends on your taste! They serve mainly sandwiches. Pretty pricey for the type of food though.
