A hidden gem in the heart of Lake Mary, Mikado Japanese Restaurant serves sophisticated sushi and hibachi dishes in a modern, relaxed atmosphere that offers dog-friendly outside tables. An extensive menu packed with flavor features miso soup, spicy garlic edamame, gyoza, soft shell crab, shrimp tempura, BBQ squid, udon and soba noodles, steak fried rice, twin lobster tail teriyaki, and for dessert, fried cheesecake with ice cream. There is only one outdoor table available, so call ahead to ensure seating with Fido. Mikado Japanese Restaurant is open from 11:30am to 10pm Monday through Thursday, 11:30am to 10:30pm Friday, noon to 10:30pm Saturday, and 2pm to 9:30pm on Sunday.
