Located in the Diplomat Mall Shopping Center, El Tayta serves authentic Peruvian delicacies in a cozy neighborhood atmosphere that offers dog-friendly outside seating. Patrons can choose from a sumptuous selection of traditional dishes such as seafood and rice soup, shrimp chowder, potatoes in cheese sauce, beef or chicken fried rice, fish sauteed noodles, steak with sauteed onions, fried chicken chunks, and fresh lobster, crab, and tuna dinner entrees. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome at front outdoor tables. El Tayta Peruvian Restaurant is open Monday through Thursday 8am to 10pm and Friday and Saturday 8am to 11pm.
