    St. John's River Grille cooks up Florida style dishes in a relaxed and spacious riverfront setting that offers dog-friendly outside tables. A menu of flavorful delights includes seared tuna salad, conch fritters, hot wings, boom boom shrimp, blackened mahi sandwiches, New Orleans shrimp and grits, sauteed snapper, fish and chips, and for landlubbers, Black Angus burgers, grilled ribeye, and classic chicken piccata. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area and on the upstairs tiki bar deck. St. John's River Grille is open from 11am to 10pm Wednesday and Thursday, 11am to 11pm Friday and Saturday, 11am to 9pm Sunday, and is closed Monday and Tuesday. Visit Website

      Horrible service

      We were seated at 12:50 received our lunch at 2:30!!!
      Food was tasteless and buns for our sandwiches were stale.
      If I could rate no bones I would.
      DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU A COUPLE OF HOURS TO WASTE

      Mediocre Food Entitled Waitress

      Mediocre food took over 45 minutes to come and then our bill was a surprise because the waitress hadn't told us french fries weren't "chips" and ff were an add on. (Sandwiches are served with "chips" or cole slaw and 1 of our party asked for his sandwich with french fries, thinking it was all good. ) So, we left a very small tip. Our waitress confronted my husband demanding at least 10 percent. Not going back to support people who feel entitled nor pay good money for mediocrity. PS: Took a small dog with us and had to ask for a bowl of water. Hmm.

      Beautiful location

      Awesome location on the water. They brought water for our Golden Retriever right away. The food was very good. Both by husband and I ordered the mahi dinner. Also cold draft bear and nice happy price.

      Fun Place on the River

      Plenty of room outside for our group and my best buddy. Good food and friendly staff. Will go back next time I am in Deland.

      Not so welcome any more

      Disregard the last post about having a screened in area where you are welcome with your pet. All pets have to be completely outdoors, and that means you are sitting outside with the mosquitos and flies along the river, in the baking sun. Small menu, food is not good, prices are high and you do not even get french fries with your $11 hamburger, those are an extra $3.

      screened in porch

      Their food is awesome! Great dessert! They offered a dog water bowl. The view is gorgeous and it’s screened in and covered so you can sit outside with your pup even when it’s raining or buggy!
