    The dog-friendly Hickory Hallow Barbecue serves Carolina style BBQ and Southern seafood in a warm and inviting off the beaten path setting. Patrons can feast on tasty delights like Brunswick stew, fried green tomatoes, soft shell crabs, Maryland style crab cakes, char-grilled wings, tender and moist pulled pork, St. Louis style spare ribs, hickory smoked chicken, grilled rainbow trout, fried sea scallops, and slow-cooked prime rib. Dessert lovers can satisfy their sweet tooth with baked apple crisp, bourbon pecan pie, and pumpkin rum cheesecake. Dogs are welcome at outdoor tables, but orders must be placed inside to go.       Amazing vibes, cute space, dog friendly, and outdoor seating for Covid. We had a bunch of stuff but the pulled pork (mmmm), the zipper peas (can I have some more pleassseee), and the squash casserole (mac and cheese?) were delicious. Literally the best Strawberry Short cake I have EVER had. Our pup had a great time too, she was fascinated by the cute lil animal area on the property. 10/10 would recommend.

      Great Food Cute Area For Pets

      Firstly, the food was fabulous! Good ole country BBQ. So a heads up for anyone going and bringing your dog. The area outside is not part of the restaurant. They take CASH only and you will not have a server outside. However, we ordered and they kindly brought out our food and drinks. We enjoyed the large oak tree that gave nice shade while enjoying our food. Before we left we brought in our glasses and went on our way. It was a Nice experience!!
