    Poe's Tavern is a dog-friendly restaurant located in Wrightsville Beach, NC. This literary-themed eatery is famous for their delicious burgers, however they also serve up appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, fish tacos, and an extensive beer and wine list. Fido is welcome to join you at one of their pet-friendly outdoor tables while you enjoy your meal. Try the Amontillado burger - a half pound in-house ground burger topped with guacamole, jalapeno-jack cheese, pico de gallo, and chipotle sour cream. For something lighter, try the Sesame Seared Tuna salad with mixed greens, tortilla strips, seared yellowfin tuna, dried cranberries, scallions, and citrus jicama slaw with a mango lime vinaigrette.       lots of outdoor covered seating and delicious food. staff was so friendly and gave our pup a water dish and lots of attention

      Poes was great to my Boykin Spaniel today! The food and drinks are always top notch!

      Favorite Burger Place

      Our whole family looks forward to a stop at Poe’s! They have the best burgers, the place is nicely decorated

      Great food

      Patio is dog friendly. We had an amazing burger. The bacon & bleu cheese slaw was delicious.
      Our waitress Brittany was super sweet and very attentive.
      Definitely a place to go!

      Friendly but crowded

      Staff was very welcoming of our 2 dogs (11 wk old pup and 10 y/o large breed). Gave each dog their own water bowl. Patio was a bit crowded, needed to pay close attention to surroundings so someone didnt scoot their chair out onto our dogs. Food was fabulous

      Great road side stop

      Awesome place to sit on a shaded deck with your pups. They will even bring out a bowl of water for your furbabies.

      Great dog friendly place!

      The food is awesome and they go out of their way to cater to your pup, even bringing over their own bowl of water. Definitely a spot to go to if you're on the beach.
