    Dogs are welcome at three seasonal outdoor tables at this American restaurant in the heart of downtown Asheville. Chesnut serves lunch and dinner every day and brunch on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Popular menu items include lobster bisque, fried oyster Rockefeller salad, and steak frites. Specialty cocktails, wine, and beer is also served. Chesnut is open Monday - Thursday 11:30am - 3pm, 5pm - 9:30pm, Friday - Saturday 11:30am - 3pm, 5pm - 10pm, Sunday 9am - 3pm, 5pm - 9:30pm.       Exceptional service from Rachel

      After a long day of hiking, Rachel took great care of us at Chestnut! Her recommendations for entrees were perfect and she even had a chicken/rice dish prepared for our two dogs. The charcuterie, our entrees, and the dessert were all excellent.

      Great dinner!

      There are 3 outdoor tables and while we arrived just before last seating Chestnut accommodated is to sit at outside tables and order from the bar.
