    Great Place for Dogs

They had dog beds you could borrow, and a nice area for the dog to do their business. The ocean was across the street with great walking area. Rooms were great with lots of room.

    Great View

This restaurant was on the grounds of the hotel we stayed. The outdoor deck was large and the staff brought our dog water right away. The food was very good and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The view is stunning, I went back the next morning to take pictures. Prices are high even for this area, but, after driving several hours, we did not want to try to find a place that took us and the dog.

    Beautiful View, Great Food!

Hidden gem- you’ll go up a steep hill but will be rewarded. The deck is perfect- comfy chairs, fresh water for the dog and a fantastic view. Staff were so nice to our girl. The food is expertly prepared. Great first meal in Acadia!

    Breakfast With A View

Enjoyed our breakfast. They were very accommodating with our pup! It is off the main area making it quiet and relaxing for breakfast.

    Excellent

We stopped in due to the proximity of our hotel and it was dog friendly. VERY excellent place for breakfast and dinner. Had breakfast and dinner there several times. Never disappointed. Waiter brought out bowl of water for our dog. We had great food and great service. Best corned beef hash breakfast ever. Great place, clean, quiet, views, and great food. Will be back every time we are up there.

Easy to miss, BUT DON'T!!! Great restaurant!!!

As in the other reviews, a little tricky to find, great views, attentive staff. The food is not only delicious, but beautifully presented. I don't take pics of my food, but this was an exception. The best piece of salmon I've ever had, carrot cake too, all plates done up with rare style. Tukka was well taken care of too, large deck for him to enjoy, from the elevated location, he kept watch over his kingdom. Enjoy!! We sure did.

    Best restaurant of our trip!

We spent a week in Bar Harbor. Didn't find the Looking Glass until the fourth day but after the breakfast we had put it on the list to return. We went back for dinner and again for another breakfast. They had a deck big enough for our two Bernese Mountain dogs to spread out and not disturb anyone else. The people was very attentive and we enjoyed great service. Some people came out just to meet the dogs which makes our dogs happy. The view was fabulous as was the food. They have a nice menu with a variety of choices to pick from.

    Spacious Deck with Panoramic Views

Wow! Close to Acadia & Found by accident... so thankful that we did! Large outdoor Patio provides sweeping views of the Porcupine Islands in Frenchman Bay as well as Cadillac, Dorr, and Champlain Mountain! Egg Rock Lighthouse is visible as is Schoodic Point across the bay! Came up for breakfast and had to return for dinner- Dogs loved the space on the deck, had their own water bowls, and the servers were very attentive to us as well as our pups needs. As for the food- out of this world good and with variety to make return trips- from Seafood to Steak, Sandwiches to Entrees, the "Maine" theme of this place seems to be locally sourced, seasonal delights (Fiddleheads & Rhubarb both on the menu!)And special thanks to Bark Harbor for pointing us in this direction- seems like a well-hidden Local Gem! Will definitely return in the fall to see the Foliage!!!
