    Sooooo good!

My hub had the lamb burger and I had the hummus and a bowl of the mushroom/spinach soup. Our meal was delicious and our server was wonderful. They fussed over Harley and gave him some water. I don’t have a picture because we were too busy devouring our meal! Highly recommend this place - also great for people watching!

    Fun place with good food!

We stopped here on an extremely warm day in Williamsburg for lunch. The patio is very dog friendly, and the food good solid pub food. They brought out a water bowl for our dog. Staff is also very friendly and service very quick.

    Fabulous

We visited this place twice last time in town so made a point of going back. there was an hour wait so the hostess asked her manager if we could sit inside at the long bar table with our 10 lb chihuahua. Kevin was the bartender but waited on us and we had a great experience!! The roasted chicken was fantastic.

    Great Food & Atmosphere

We had a great experience here with our dog! We called ahead and asked to be seated at a table with as little traffic as possible. The host let us know that it might be a long wait but we said we didn't mind and he accommodated that. We took our time walking around Colonial Williamsburg while we waited and it was absolutely worth it! When we arrived to the pub, we were taken to our table which was in a far corner on the side of the building. It was perfect for us and our anxious Great Dane. Our server immediately came to greet us and our dog and even offered menu suggestions for him when asked. Everything here from the food to the service to the ambiance was exceptional. If we're ever in town again, we will come back.

Very Good Food, Very Bad Customer service

I was visiting from out of town on a family holiday. I was walking my dog and was looking for a dog-friendly restaurant since it was a beautiful weekend. I saw that DoG Street Pub was dog-friendly and thought I would try it. I wish I would have read the reviews from this site. I experienced the worst customer service ever! First of all, you have to go inside to place your reservation and if you have a dog, they have a sign telling dog-owners to enter through the side door. There’s no side door. Fortunately 2 women were sitting outside with their dog and the daughter graciously went in to tell the waitress I was outside. Then I had to wait 25 minutes for a table, even though there were plenty of empty tables available. Third, they gave a big table with lots of chairs and my dog jumped up on the chair beside me. She was not near the table, she was curled up for most of the time but she would occasionally sit up, but again, not near the table. The female pub manager came out and very rudely and very obnoxiously told me my dog had to get off the chair because of dept of health codes. My complaint isn’t about the health codes, it’s the way she spoke to me. And she stood there till my dog got off the chair. My poor dog thought she was being punished, it was sad. If I hadn’t placed my order I would have just gotten up and left then but I didn’t want to cause an additional scene. When I got back to my hotel, I called the restaurant and spoke directly to the pub manager. I told her that the way she spoke to me was inappropriate and that I would be posting this review on BringFido.com along with the other bad reviews.

    Nice place

You need to inquire inside on seating, but it was pleasant from there.

    Not Very Dog Friendly

It’s funny a place with a dog on the sign, isn’t very dog friendly. They have a large patio, but only a couple tables that are for dogs. We arrived, and the sign says “dog customers use side entrance”. We stood at the side forever, and finally we spotted a server. She told one of us to go inside to speak with the host. The host had just sat their dog table... to a party without a dog! They had plenty of tables available, but our wait would be 45 minutes. Needless to say, we went somewhere else.

    Great place

Great place, we had to wait 45mins for a seat but they texted me once our table was ready so we didn’t have to stand around waiting. Food was really good and well priced, staff was friendly to us and dog. And the beer list was extensive.

All around worst experience ever at a restaurant

Our server made a big deal about delivering "tap water" in a fancy corked bottle. Asked server to keep water coming on hot summer day but didn't see any server for another 15 minutes. The water tasted terrible. Menu left a lot to be desired. My sister ordered a specialty salad that came with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing that burned her throat. Another sister ordered fried green tomatoes that had wet salad put on top that made fried tomatoes a soggy mess AND I got the cheese plate that had BAD NASTY LIQUIFYING OLD TERRIBLE cheese on it. I told the server about the issue and after discussing the problem he finally took it to the manager who proceeded to "lecture" me on different kinds of cheeses. I told the manager that I know about cheeses. I was brought some other cheese. Later the manager told me that she had taken it to the chef to look at and was told that something must have gone wrong in the delivering of the cheese to the establishment. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth ALL DAY LONG. Nothing was done to make us satisfied customers and we were left paying over $60.00 for a very bad experience. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

    Partially Dog friendly

Im used to the west coast where dog friendly is actually a thing. Travelling alone with a dog is, to say the least, difficult on the east coast. I carried my dog inside to the hostess stand since they were not out side to welcome guests and get a table. This was met with the "is that a service animal" and "they can't be in here". Like I'm going to leave my dog tied up for someone to steal. Finally got a table, but service was sub par. The food was OK, no water for the dog offered and were treated as if the dog were a Hassel more than welcomed. Will not be returning.

    Not dog friendly

We went tonight to get dinner with our two dogs and were turned away because they had sent the outside server home. Signs all over say how dog friendly they are. Don't advertise what you can't stay committed to. We took our business to another dog friendly restaurant instead
