We had pouring rain and they accommodated us making sure the pups were dry as we ate. not a crowded day so they were able to accommodate us. food was awesome too.

I love their brisket and their bison ribs are quite good too. There is ample dog friendly outdoor seating and the staff are very friendly. This is one of the most dog friendly restaurants I have been to.

Dog friendly on the patio. There is shade and they have fans. But when it's hot outside you will be warm. They filled up pur dog bowl with water also. If you have never been it's a must try.

- RoxannaApr 2, 2022Awesome Food!
Texas BBQ at its best! This place has delicious bbq options and a very nice set up with many outdoor tables and plenty of shade. They are definitely dog friendly and my pups made a few new friends. There is a wait time to be seated so arrive early, sign in, and be patient because it is worth the wait!

Food is awesome and you can bring your fur baby also. Order your food to go so you can sit outside on the patio. Salt lick cellar is right next door. Pop in for a sip. They allow dogs in the small tasting g room. Have a seat on the deck under the big oak tree.

Picnic tables in back by Salt Creek Winery Cellars were more dog accessible and near an entrance where we didn't have to walk through crowds of people with our pup. They were also a little more quiet and cool. Be prepared on summer days by bringing your own cold water, bowl, ice and maybe even a cooling pad for your pup. Fans are on a timer and don't turn on around picnic tables until 6pm. If traveling by yourself you might want to just order by phone and drive to pick up window to pick up food and then park and find a table. Wait staff does not come by.

I stopped by for dinner Saturday night. While I couldn't bring my dog onto any of the Salt Lick restaurant patios, I could order from the takeout window and eat in the main "waiting" area patio, by the live music stage. Also, after I ordered and received my food, one of the managers came over and offered a free beef rib for my dog.

Only dog friendly on weekends maybe cause it was only inside seating on a Monday, poor guy had to stay in the car...;(
