  Fun stop

  We enjoyed this stop, even though it wasn’t what we expected. It’s more of an awesome gift shop with a beautiful courtyard than a cheese company. they do sell many different types of cheese, but very few of their own. They also sell lots of pickled things, jams, candy, and ice cream. One has to go inside to purchase things, so it can be a bit tough with a dog. There is a huge courtyard with lots of outside seating, but no shade, at least at this time of year. We ordered a wine tasting and made a little makeshift charcuterie. The lady pouring the wine helped carry it all outside. Not a bad way to take a break on a road trip.

  Won’t visit again

  The outside space is actually quite lovely with paved areas, grassy spots, corn hole and beautiful vegetation around you. There was one dog bowl filled with what looked like old water and debris in it. We sat down, and my partner went into order. While waiting I noticed they have chickens and bunny’s roaming free in their outdoor space! Which is very cute, but in my opinion, not dog friendly— especially if you have a dog with a prey drive. We knew they had a petting zoo section (which luckily you are sat away from) but not animals roaming around the eating area. Definitely made the eating experience challenging and stressful.

  Also as a side note— they claim to be a French cheese company but do not appear to actually make any of their own cheese, nor is it really available to sample. This is mostly a deli that offers wine tasting (again not their own wine, and no true French food) with a gift shop.

  Terrible

  don’t ever leave a terrible review except this time. waited over a hour outside with my dog for a single sandwich. when I finally inquired inside the host put my sandwich in front of me with not a word spoken and oh yea the sandwich was terrible no condiments no napkins. don’t waste your time & $$ at this place.

  Very Nice Place

  Great salads and specialty place with lots of good cheese, dressings, jams and a great deli to have lunch! On a sunny day a nice place to rest before leaving two
